The first group of dancers hurried out of the room, with Mac hot on their heels.

“I can’t believe he was nice to me,” Dylan muttered.

“Mac’s a good guy,” Jag said.

“And so are you,” Kyrone said. “But no more lies from now on, okay? We’re a family here. That means we look after each other, accept each other, and trust each other.”

Dylan burst into tears. The three men crowded round him, hugging him between them. He relaxed into their embrace, crying even harder.

“If there’s a hug pile, we need in on it,” Logan announced, right before he and Taylor joined them.

Despite his tears, Dylan laughed. He might not have had much of a family growing up, and even though he’d be reticent to admit and accept it, he had one now and he wasnevergoing to do anything to risk losing them again. They were a family of talented dancers and broken boys, and he loved them all.
