“It’s okay. And hey, I’m getting better at pulling pints.”

“Ah, but can you make a blowjob yet?” Dylan asked, waggling his eyebrows.

Callum knew Dylan meant the cocktail, but for some reason a shiver of excitement ran through him, making him blush. “Not yet. I’ve got to learn how to serve basic drinks before Mac lets me anywhere near cocktails.”

“Sensible guy,” Dylan said a little grudgingly.

“You don’t like him?”

“He just rubs me the wrong way. Jag assures me he’s a great guy, but heisscrewing Mac’s best friend, so I’d say he was biased.”

Callum smiled. “Probably, but Mac does seem nice.” He rested his chin on his hand. “What don’t you like?”

“He’s a big guy that bosses me around.”

“He’s the manager, isn’t it his job?”

Dylan nodded. “But it doesn’t mean I have to like it. You’re a twink too, haven’t you ever been pushed around by bigger guys?”

“They’ve tried.” Callum rubbed his fingertips over the table. “I know how to defend myself.”

Dylan watched him thoughtfully. “Juvie?”

“Partly. I got into a lot of fights when I was younger.”

“Want to talk about it?”

Callum pinched his lips together. “Not right now.”

Dylan nodded. “Well, in that case, I want to get to know you better. You’re going to tell me all your favourite things.”

“I am?”

“Yes.” Dylan tapped the table. “Let’s go. Favourite film.”

Callum grinned, glad that, despite their rocky start, he’d found a friend in Dylan.
