Bringing Janet was the last thing he wanted to do.She won’t leave Lily.He didn’t want to make her leave her little sister, nor put her in danger.
Fuck Raphael and the EPED. He stood and strode across the room, calling out as he went. “Time for lunch!” His eyes glazed over as he went to the kitchen’s replicator. His legs ached to shift into his tail and destroy the pretty statues standing about.
Lily ran to him with Mr. Heartface in tow, chasing her with a giant fluffy towel just as Janet peeked out of her room. Everything was too nice, too blissful, as he typed in the code to the machine, replicating standard Earthian ware.
I can’t kill Raphael.
Janet stepped out of her hiding place and walked toward him with a sway to her hips. His thoughts stopped dead in their tracks. She came to him with the look of an indignant bitch in heat, and he wanted to lay her down, cover her with himself, and eat her right up. He wanted to feel her wet pussy rub and grind across his tail as she rode it.
An idea formed.
Zeph flicked out his dagger and cut Lily’s peanut butter and jelly sandwich in half.
Janet eyed him as he made the same dish for her. He grinned when she snatched the plate from him.
“What is it now?” she asked, setting her plate down slowly, her brow furrowing.
“Tonight. I’m putting you to work.”
Her sigh was music to his ears.

Later that night, with the carnival glow of the criminal city blasting through every window of the richly decorated condo, Janet tip-toed out of the walk-in closet of the master bedroom. Zeph showed her the space after lunch and told her to find something nice to wear. Luckily for her, the owner of the place seemed to be a slender woman.
That’s what she thought until she found the powered-off sex robot in a glass case in the back, with the same shape and body of the feminine clothes within.
Janet stuck her tongue out in disgust but pulled on a shimmering dress anyway. The hem fell mid-thigh, leaving her tanned legs bare. The bust was much too big for her, but Mr. Heartface sourced out some pins for her to adjust the material.
She examined herself in the mirror as she pulled on a pair of simple green heels that were a half-size too big. She didn’t know why Zeph wanted her dressed up. He hadn’t said a word to her in hours, leaving the condo in a blaze of fury after lunch. The only thing he’d told her was that he was scouting the nearby area and taking care of loose ends.
Janet kept expecting a fleet of EPED ships to appear outside the windows and start shooting the place up.
“Lily, come tell me what you think,” she called out.
Her sister grumbled about not playing dress up before answering. “You’re green.”
“Do you like it?” Janet asked.
“You’re sparkly.”
“So, that’s a no?”
Lily shrugged her little shoulders and sat heavily onto the floor. “Can I dress up now?”
Janet pursed her lips, not wanting to explain the same reasons why her sister couldn’t for the fourth time. “No.”
“I’m booooored,” Lily whined, laying down. “Uncle Zeph promised to show me Titan.”
“He showed you the Elyrian moon monsters and the other nearby planets. Maybe we can visit several more before we leave.”
“Uugh.”
Janet frowned, unsure of what to say. She wanted to give Lily everything, but not before Janet knew she was safe from the EPED and any other outsiders. This place wasn’t for a little girl, no more than it was for her.Should I lie?Her frown deepened.
“How about this?” She kneeled on the floor beside her sister. “After everything is settled, I’ll tell Da you’re ready to learn how to shoot.”
Lily sat up. “Really?”
