The quiet and stillness came back to him before he busted out laughing, his arms closing tight around me, and he took us to our sides so I could fully feel his laughter, as well as hear it.

In case you were wondering, it was fabulous.

He was down to chuckles when he said, “No, cupcake, you totally are not.”

Well, it was good we were over that bump.

And way better, he agreed with me.

Onward.

“So…you up for another quickie before we have to face the day?”

The chuckles came back, and now it was his voice that was trembling, and not with worry, when he said, “Baby, just fucked you.”

“I know.”

“You came twice.”

“I didn’t miss that.”

He paused to ponder.

I paused to watch him ponder, because he was even gorgeous while pondering.

Then he said, “Quickie. But in the shower. We can multitask.”

“Excellent suggestion.”

He got out of bed, and I did too, because he pulled me out with him.

We did a quickie in the shower.

It was awesome.

Gabe went down to get my bag and start coffee.

Since I took way longer than him to get ready, I stayed upstairs, even when he went back down to get us coffee. He returned with that and a bowl of oatmeal for me.

Ah.

My man.

His bathroom was way bigger and way nicer than mine.

I found I had zero trouble getting used to it.

After I finished getting ready and came down the stairs, I kissed him where he sat at the island with his laptop, coffee, and news websites on his laptop.

He had a travel mug ready for me.

Because…

Of course he did.

Then I went out to my car in his garage and went to work.

It was really, really hard to contain my glee until the second shift (Shanti, Jess and Harlow) came in to join the first (Raye, Luna and me).
