Sophia
Javi worked on bringing his fantasy to life, and suggested to Rayna she should put on a team-building day on track. Rayna asked for my help to organise and set up the day, so I arrived a few hours early. I’m here to sort through the pits and unload bikes Rayna organised to be used today, so everyone can jump on and enjoy the experience. I was already working on track as it’s an off weekend and I had my plan of finishing up the motocross project, so this is a great break for a few hours to blow off some steam with everyone.
I finish setting the bikes up in pit lane and check the time. I have three hours until everyone starts arriving.Perfect!I go into the pit, turn my music up loud, and focus on the motocross bikes and the adjustments I need to make, slipping into the zone quickly.
My head tips towards the back of the pits at the sound of footsteps coming through, and a subtle smirk teases at the side of my mouth. The footsteps are familiar.
Without looking up, I say, “Morning Javi. You’re early.” The steps stop behind me.
“Morning, Sophia. Felt bad about giving you more work with my suggestion. Thought I would come and help out,” he replies.
Spinning around, my elbow rests casually behind me on the hard bench. I gesture towards the open pit door, at all the bikes set up, while I exaggerate looking at my watch. “Two hours until everyone shows up. You know I am more efficient than that.” I smile.
He nods. “Mmm-hmm, mmm-hmm. Or did I know this?” He starts to walk closer to me. I stay leaning on the bench, our eyes connecting, never breaking away. He stops in front of me, now looking down at me. The smell of watermelons surrounds me. Intoxicating. Taking over my senses. He smiles. He is so close, yet not touching me, separated by a single breathe between us. Here we are again.
“I’ve been thinking of you a lot. Watching you from so far away over the last few weeks has been agony,” he says low, almost pained.
“We’re in the same pit box,” I breathe shallowly. I couldn’t take a deep breath even if I wanted to.
He raises his hand to tuck some stray hairs behind my ear, and runs a finger down my neck. My eyes flutter slightly. His touch is light, sending butterflies to my flipping stomach.
“Still too far away.” Javi closes the distance and kisses my neck, kissing down the line his finger made before. A sigh escapes my mouth as his hands reach and grip my waist. So much for small talk. His confidence is heady. He knows what he wants and it’s addictive knowing it’s me. My hands entwine into his hair. He breaks away from my neck and kisses me deeply, his tongue teasing mine. My hands are on the back of his head, helping me meet his deep kissing.
His hands squeeze me tight around my waist, etching up slightly, rubbing his thumbs under my breasts over the fabric of my tank top. My body responds to his touch. It feels like it is glowing, sensitive to the bass in the music still playing. Dripping pulses through my body.
Fuck, I’ve missed this. Missed Javi’s closeness. Him knowing me. Wanting to see me. Wanting me. Understanding me. Driving me crazy and wild. The effect he has on me. It’s like nothing I’ve experienced. He drives me so wild, all I can think about is bending over this bench and us fucking. Carnal, raw, and animalistic. How am I going to focus today?
His hands move to my ass and he lifts me up a little—confirming he’s thinking the same thing. We still have time until everyone gets here, right?
As if on cue, we hear Rayna’s voice coming down pit lane. She’s on the phone, and with no bikes running or on track, it causes her voice to echo down into the pit box. We break away, breathless, hurried. Straightening up and turning to the work on the bench, we pretend this is what we have been doing all along.
I open the laptop on the bench and, thankfully, have data on the screen I can pretend to be showing Javi. “Good cover,” he says, smiling at me, running his fingers against mine before Rayna enters the pit box after her phone call.
“Good morning, Sophia. Javi! Morning. You’re early,” Rayna exclaims. Her warmth seeps through the box.
Javi turns to her when she greets him, resting his elbow on the bench beside me. “Morning, Rayna! I came early to help Sophia set up, but she has everything all sorted. So, we’re checking out the motocross adjustments. Interesting developments!” Javi praises, catching on easily to the data I have up.
“Sophia! You don’t stop! This coming summer break, you’re not working at all!” She smiles and comes over to check out the latest data and developments.
We spend an hour chatting and brainstorming until the team arrives.
Rayna, Javi, and I thank the team for their commitment and dedication this season, sharing we want them to enjoy the day. Everyone jumps on a bike, and we have a ball. Of course, Javi can’t help himself and has lap races with different members of the team. Dave gives Javi a close race. Rayna is all over the track and is in hysterics when she finally crosses the line, stating she is glad she recruited Javi as the talent.
“How about you, boss? Think you can take me on?” His eyes glint fiery from his helmet.
“Oh, it’s on, champ,” I reply, emphasisingchampin a cheeky tone.
The team cheers and whoops at the challenge.
We line up, side by side on our bikes, out of earshot from the rest of the team. I flip down my helmet’s visor and rev the bike. I can hear the team cheer again.
Javi chuckles and adds, “Alright, you mean business. State your terms.”
I ponder quickly. “You pack up all the bikes and equipment after this session.”
“Fair. I accept these terms,” Javi replies.
