“Fuck!” I yelp out.

“I wasn’t expecting anyone to be here,” Sophia gasps as her hand covers her chest.

“Sorry, I came straight here from the training facility. I thought the meeting was earlier.”

“That’s okay. I was in my head, not paying attention. You didn’t spill my coffee, so that’s a positive.”

“Oh, is one of the hospitality tents open?”

“Yeah, Rayna organised for our tent to be used for the meeting today, so the staff is there, getting some food set up for us.”

She regains her composure with an exhale and stands straight up again. “Haven’t been scared like that in a while.” She laughs.

“Is that a challenge?” I can’t help but tease her.Fuck,I've missed her.

“No, that isnota challenge. I donotneed to be scared,” she reiterates to my smirking face.

Grabbing her out of the doorway, where she was propping the heavy door open with her foot, I push her up against the cold, cement wall. My body is flush against her, my hands around her waist.

Looking into each other’s eyes, the heavy door creaks slowly close, gradually shutting out the light from outside until it closes with a loud thud. Sophia jumps at the sound echoing down the now dark hallway.

“Hope that didn’t scare you too much,” I breathe, feeling her rapidly rising chest in my hands. I squeeze in reply.

“It didn’t,” she mutters quietly. The only light comes from the distant, artificial light from the back of the pit, barely highlighting her features.

“Well, that is a relief. Here I thought I might need to distract you so you weren’t scared anymore.” My hand ambles up her side.

“And how would you do that, exactly? You know, considering you were the one to scare me,” she challenges.

“Oh, you know. A little of this and a little of that.” My hand is now under her ear, rubbing my thumb on her neck and jaw, feeling her swallow.

“Quite vague there.” I can imagine the coy smile dancing across her lips.

“I was always one for leaving out the details. Can’t show all of my hand.” My other hand quickly moves to the other side of her neck. Pinning her against the wall, my lips suddenly meets hers. She yips as she opens her mouth to allow my tongue to caress hers, deepening the kiss.

Her body presses closer to me as her free hand snakes around my back, trying to seek friction.

“That’s a good hand,” she mutters.

“Gotta keep them guessing.”

“Great strategy.”

She moans when I pull back. “I don’t know how long we have been here for, but we better stop before anyone turns up. I know Rayna will be early, like she always is.”

“I can feel my coffee is still hot. We haven’t been here for too long,” she teases.

We’re still impossibly close. I hate myself for not suggesting we run into the showers for more fun, but that will definitely cause more questions if we get too caught up and time slips away. Stepping back, my hand is still on the side of her face, and I love that she leans into my touch. She moves her head so she can kiss my palm, while boring her eyes into me. I hate my bad timing.

“To be continued,” I reply, prying my hands away from her.

She smirks in reply and pushes herself off the wall.

Opening the door, the light streams in and I look back at Sophia, making her way up the hallway. I watch the sway in her hips and her hand straightening her clothes.

She reaches the end of the hallway and turns her head to me. “See you in the meeting.” And then she disappears out of my sight before I can reply.

Trying to smother my hard dick, I’m grateful I have on jeans. I think unsexy thoughts and start walking towards the tent for food, waiting for the meeting where I can gawk at Sophia all I want.
