He lifted her hand as they sat at the stoplight.“Do you have enough at the house, or do we need to stop at your apartment?”
She turned to him.“I think I have enough.”
He drove forward, keeping his eyes on the road.“When are we just going to move everything in?”
She sighed.“Do you really think we’re ready for that? We’ve only been together for four months.”
“I can’t see us ever breaking up, and we spend all our free time together, and it’s always at my house. It seems logical for you just to move in with me.”
Myla looked out her side window and tried to think about what to say.She wanted to live with him, but nothing had been said about the future, and he’d never talked about his feelings for her, while she’d told him she loved him several times.
She saw how tense he was when she turned to look at him.“Can we talk about this later?”
He glanced at her.“Sure.”
She could tell he wasn’t happy about waiting, but she needed time to think about what to say.
Chapter Nineteen
Kaleb pulled into hisdriveway, parked, and walked around to lift her down, then took her hand and led her into his house.
“Do you want to do something or go to bed?”
She set her purse down.“I just want to go to bed.”
“All right.Go on in, and I’ll be right there.I want to make sure everything is locked up.”
Myla walked into the master bathroom and stripped. She pulled her hair up and then jumped into the shower.
When he walked in, she was sitting on the side of the bed in her robe, putting lotion on her legs.It was such a simple thing, but when he watched her do it, it looked erotic and always got him hard.
“I’m going to shower quickly.”
“Okay.”Myla looked up and smiled.
Kaleb came out and saw her in bed facing him.The sweet look on her face continually did something to his heart because it felt like it would jerk out of his chest. He dropped the towel he had wrapped around his waist to the floor, slid into bed, and then turned off the light.
