“What the hell?” Colt barks out.
Ohhhshit!
I bite my bottom lip, and Colt puts me on the bed and walks over, flicking the light switch. He furrows his brows, and his eyes bulge as he enters the disaster zone.
“Sorry,” I whisper.
His head snaps up. “Wait! You did this?” With quick steps, he kicks some of the broken glass across the floor.
“I was angry. No, I wasfurious. I thought you were fucking her. I… I…” My voice falters as the image of them together slams back into my mind, vivid and unforgiving. My stomach twists, and I squeeze my eyes shut, willing it away.
A heavy sigh fills the silence, then the bed dips beside me. A moment later, Colt’s arm wraps around my shoulders, pulling me against his warmth.
I hesitate before slowly opening my eyes—only to find him smiling.
The jerk is fucking smiling.
My brows snap together as I sit up straighter, irritation sparking. “Why are you smiling?”
He chuckles, the sound low and amused. Annoyance flares in my chest, and I exhale sharply, shifting away from him, putting space between us.
“Come here. I’m not laughing at you. Well, maybe I am… a little.” He holds up his fingers, barely any space between them, smirking as mischief dances in his eyes.
“You were such a delicate little daddy’s girl when I met you. All prim and proper. And now look at you… breaking lamps and shit, swearing like a damn trooper.” He tilts his head, eyes gleaming with pride. “You’re a real rock chick now, baby. There’s no going back.” He grins. “Mamma Sia will bedeliriouslyhappy that her Little Bean has finally, fullysprouted.”
Taking in the wreckage around me, I finally see the humor in my tantrum—kind of. But as the full weight of it sinks in, so does the cost. And damn, it’s going to be expensive. Not only will Ihave to cover the damages, but I’ll also need to fix the walls.Oh, and let’s not forget the cleanup bill.
And to make things worse? This isn’t justanyhotel. It’s one ofDaddy’sU.S. chains.
This shit is going to get back to him—for sure.
Fuck. My. Life!
“Wow,” I mumble under my breath.
“What?” Colt tilts his head.
“This is going to cost me a fortune to fix,” I say, remembering that Daddy has been decreasing my allowance to force me home.
“It’s fine. I was the cause of all…” he waves his hands around, “…this. So I’m gonna foot the bill for the damages. I owe you that much. In fact, I owe you so much more, Dee, and I want to start by making it up to you right now.” He pushes me to the bed and moves on top of me.
His lips meet mine, leading me to giggle at his playfulness.
And just like that, allthe issues vanish.

We spent all night loving each other in every way possible—in the bed, in the shower, dominant fucking, fast and hard, normal lovemaking, slow and passionate. We made up for lost time until we both passed out from exhaustion before the sun rose.
Slowly, I roll over, reaching for Colt, but my hand meets empty sheets.
My eyes fly open, suspicion twisting in my chest. Lifting my head, I scan the room, hoping I’m wrong. But no, he’s not here. With a frustrated growl, I drop my head back onto the pillow.
I guess we had our time together, and now it’s back to business.
I get it.
I really do.
