Watching him peak gloriously five times from my touch, had gotten me extremely pent up. A few thrusts and I could already feel my orgasm building, one, two more and it exploded through my body and my mind.

With shuddering breaths I was just drifting back down to reality when I felt the barrel of a gun press into the back of my head. Instinctively I froze. The room filled with men. My first pressing thought was that I was still inside Jinx. It was awful and nauseating. So I was relieved to be pulled up and off of him. My arms were yanked behind my back and cuffed.

I realized Jinx couldn’t move, then Rufus walked into my field of vision and I understood why. I looked around the other occupants of my bedroom and saw with a sinking feeling that they were mobsters. Rufus had teamed up with the mob and they were going to enact their revenge together.

They pushed me down onto my knees on the floor. I tested out Rufus’s magical bindings on my powers and they were tight. He was good. I didn’t know why I had always underestimated him.

Jinx was frozen on the bed, naked with his legs spread wide. In a room full of hostile men. My heart thudded in my chest. I had never wished to be surrounded by homophobes before, but here I was, praying for it with all my heart and soul. Homophobes who weren’t hypocrites and who would never touch a man.

What a situation to be in. My mind felt mostly numb with shock and unable to process what was happening. Rufus couldn’t be this pissed off at me, surely? I looked up at him. He held my gaze steadily.

“I’m sorry, Seb. It’s for your own good. This demon is clearly corrupting you and has you ensorcelled.”

“What the fuck, Rufus? You know that is bullshit! And how is being murdered by mobsters for my own good?”

He had the grace to wince. “They are not going to murder you, just take a few fingers. That is our deal.”

I swallowed down the bile rising in my throat and fought the nausea threatening to overwhelm me.

“It’s a small price to pay to get you free from the demon. You will thank me when it’s all over.”

I stared at him incredulously. Was he completely insane?

“What’s your excuse for letting these mundanes know about the paranormal?”

Rufus glared at me. “They already suspected, thanks to you, and it’s not like they are going to tell anyone!”

He had clearly lost his mind. We were at the mercy of a madman.

“What are you going to do to Jinx?” I asked weakly.

“I’m going to unbind the demon from you and bind him to Stefan instead.” Rufus’s gaze flicked to one of the men. “Stefan is going to chain him to a bed in his brothel. The only good use of an incubus, if you ask me.”

Jinx whimpered softly and my stomach lurched. A cold sweat broke out all over my body.

“Why not just banish him?” I pleaded.

Rufus’s eyes flashed dangerously. “The demon is payment for your life!” He turned to Stefan. “The demon can’t move, why don’t you have a taste? I know you are dubious about just how much an incubus loves getting cock.”

I sucked in a gasp of air. Rufus looked down at me. “And you’ll get to see that you are nothing special to this demon. It loves all cock equally.”

I pushed against my magic bonds again but they were as solid as steel. As solid as the gun still pressed against the back of my head. I was helpless, powerless.

“Fred, you fuck it,” said Stefen.

I bit back my wail. One of the men stepped towards the bed. Jinx thrashed against his invisible bonds desperately, only succeeding to dislodge his ridiculous hat so that it slid down over his eyes.

Sheer horror ran like ice in my veins. This could not be happening. I needed to stop it. Needed to save Jinx. I pushed with my magic as hard as I could but there was no give. I was going to have to kneel there and watch as Jinx was raped. Selfishly I hoped they’d let me close my eyes. With a shuddering breath, I told myself I needed to pretend not to be bothered, so they didn’t prolong it or increase their cruelty. But I wasn’t convinced I was strong enough. Not only could I not help Jinx, I was going to make it worse.

Then I realized with startling clarity what I needed to do.

The collar and its binding to me, was a different kind of magic from my own. Older, more potent. And not caught by Rufus’s spell.

I took a quick breath and then uttered the incantation as quickly as I could. I needed to complete it before Rufus had a chance to realize what I was doing. He could stop me by gagging me or knocking me out easily enough.

Jinx was still struggling on the bed. The mobster had crawled onto it and was kneeling between Jinx’s legs as he unzipped his fly. The stupid hat slid off even more and was now covering his cheek, leaving his eyes free and full of fear.

As the words started to work, Jinx shot me a look full of anguish as he desperately shook his head. But there was no other option. I did not falter.
