Dean stared at Silas’s dark eyes.

“I didn’t, I couldn’t, I wouldn’t!” Dean babbled desperately.

Silas rolled his eyes and shook his head. “I know that, you idiot. Now get your cock out so I can see to it. I’ve got shit to do.”

Dean could only stare.

Silas stared back for a moment before sighing heavily. “Dean, your body can’t help responding to a heat. Let me sort you out.”

Helplessly, Dean unbuttoned his fly, freeing his cock. Silas grinned at him, dropped to all fours on the floor, and crawled under the desk. Dean squeaked in surprise, but the squeak turned into a moan as Silas’s hot, wet mouth engulfed him. Dean gripped the edge of the desk, his knuckles turning white. Intense pleasure shooting through him. The things Silas could do with his mouth.

For the thousandth time, Dean thanked the heavens that he had been able to get over his phobia. But he would forever mourn the time he had wasted by being too scared to let Silas take him in his mouth. Just because the first time Dean had laid eyes on the omega was when Silas had nearly bitten an alpha’s cock off. Dean had been an idiot to let that mental image haunt him.

Dean groaned as Silas took him deep, lavishing his hard cock with attention. Silas was on his knees before him. Under the desk. Taking him in his mouth. If anyone walked in, they would see everything. See the Grand Master of the Council, the most powerful man in the country, sucking Dean off at his desk.

Dean grunted as he came, seeing stars. He heard Silas’s muffled moan of surprise, but the omega drank him all down. Dean panted as reality took shape around him.

Silas crawled backwards from under the desk, stood, and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. His dark eyes were shining with merriment.

“What set you off?” he asked.

Dean felt himself flush and he looked away. “Nothing,” he mumbled.

Silas chuckled, “Go on, tell me.”

Dean sighed and surrendered sheepishly. “I thought about how you are the most powerful man in the country and you were on your knees sucking me off.”

He was fairly certain Silas would be amused, but it was still a little embarrassing.

Silas threw back his head and laughed. His beautiful musical laugh that always stirred Dean’s soul. The necromancer put his hands on the table, leaned over and gave Dean a quick kiss. Dean forgot all about being embarrassed.

“I can’t leave this concoction I’ve got brewing, but you can do all sorts of debase things to the Grand Master later, okay?” said Silas in a sultry tone.

Dean nodded enthusiastically, feeling a huge grin spread across his face. Silas chuckled at him, a fond look in his eyes. Then he turned and left.

Dean sighed, tucked his cock back into his pants and tried to remember what the hell he had been doing.

Chapter two

Thenextday,Kateran into Dean’s office. Her eyes wide with alarm.

“There is a whole load of humans in cars driving up to the compound, including three police cars,” she gasped.

Dean swore and jumped to his feet. It was unnerving to see Kate look so flustered, but he could understand why. Whatever the humans wanted, it was unlikely to be good. He took a deep breath and calmed himself. Calm, he must portray a calm confidence for his pack.

He smiled reassuringly at Kate before following her out. By the time the humans arrived, Dean was waiting for them outside the main house. He had shooed Kate and several others away. He didn’t want to look hostile. Giving a relaxed, non-threatening appearance seemed like the best approach.

The cars pulled up and the engines switched off. A middle-aged woman with thick glasses and light brown hair in a bun, got out of the lead car. She was wearing a gray suit and she clutched a clipboard to her chest. She walked up to Dean calmly, pushed her glasses up her nose and held out her hand.

“Emily Henderson, Child Protection Services.”

Dean didn’t let his smile waver. Instead, he shook her hand vigorously whilst desperately trying to portray himself as warm, amenable and harmless. As well as very human.

“The school has reported several of the children insisting that their last name isn’t Northstar anymore but Darkstar.”

Dean hid his groan. They had decided that formally changing the pups names would only confuse humans, so they hadn’t done it. At the time, none of the pups had been old enough to understand. Apparently, that wasn’t the case anymore, and it seemed like no one had thought to explain things to the pups. Before he could come up with a response, Emily spoke again.

“We always like to keep a close eye on cults, I mean communities, anyway. So this seemed like a perfect time for a visit.”
