His jaw worked back and forth as he stepped forward. His body was stiff and his gloved hands wrung together. “My dreams have changed drastically over the last twenty-four hours.” I held my breath as he gazed at me, his heart bare. “You made me look deep into myself, Lyla. Deeper than I’d ever done so before, and I wasn’t the man I wanted to be.”

My whole body tensed. I didn’t want to destroy his world. My anger had lashed out red hot, and I wanted to take it back. I wanted him to smile, to be whole and wonderful again. “I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t you dare apologize.” The words came out hard, but he closed his eyes and took in a calming breath. “What happened was a good thing. When I became a paramedic, that was for me.Being a doctor was what my family wanted for me, and I took on a lot of guilt in disappointing them. So I thought I could put up with whatever else they wanted of me. But now I can’t do that and be true to myself. I don’t like how Omegas are treated, and it’s about time that I not only said it, it’s time I took action to support my words.”

He glanced at Jason, who looked as shocked as I felt, and then turned back to me. “I called my parents and told them that I wanted nothing more to do with their matchmaking and how they treat Omegas is wrong. I said I found an Omega who I was falling for. One who was an amazing and brilliant career woman. If she doesn’t let me claim her, I will find myself a mate who I loved and not one just good for the family line. My father stormed off, and my mother burst into tears. I don’t know if I’ll ever hear from them again.”

The ground seemed to disappear from underneath me. He did that? For me?

“Holy fuck, man.” Jason immediately went over and put an arm across Ozzi’s shoulders.

Ozzi patted him on the back. “You were right. All these years you kept telling me not to take on that weight. It was tearing me up inside. I was being my father’s son, and not who I actually was.”

They hugged, and hot tears streamed down my cheeks. I rose, wanting to go join in that embrace, but I didn’t want to ruin the moment for them either.

This Alpha, who loved his family, gave them up for me. Everything was still spinning.

Ozzi broke the hug and came forward, holding out his hand. “You were the catalyst, Lyla. You made me see the truth of things. I’ll be forever grateful to you.” I took his hand and he squeezed it. “You asked me about my dreams. My dreams. I love my life here. My job, the town, the people. Jason and I willbe brothers forever, but my greatest wish is for you to make our pack complete.”

Maybe I wasn’t spinning. This could be what swooning felt like.

“I don’t want to think about children for a while either. I want to enjoy every minute together, to live with joy, and be together no matter where life takes us.”

Yup. Full-on swoon.

They both went down onto one knee together. Oh God.

“Lyla, in such a short time, you’ve won our hearts,” Ozzi began.

“And our cocks.” Jason winked at me.

Ozzi barely suppressed a smirk, but his expression went serious as he continued to stare at me. “We want to claim you and mark you as ours. We want you in our lives. And we as your humble servants will do whatever it takes to make you happy.”

“I can’t imagine life without you, baby. I’m all yours, forever and ever.”

Everything in me crumbled.

With a choked sob, I fell onto them. Almost over them with my momentum, but they wrapped their arms around me and held me tight. “I don’t want servants. I want my princes. All I want is for you both to be happy too. And if I’m the only one who can do it, poor little me will have to let these two hunky Alphas claim her.”

Seconds ago, I felt broken, but locked in their embrace, I was made whole. Other people in my life had built me up and loved me, but no one had ever made me feel perfect just the way I was. “I love you. I love you both so much.”

“I love you too, gorgeous.” Jason rained kisses over my face and then mashed his mouth to mine, feverish with his emotions.

“I love you, astéri mou.” Ozzi whispered, kissing along my neck until my lips were free. His kiss was equally as hot, twisting his tongue with mine.

“What’s that mean?” I nudged my nose to his. The sound of it was like a breath of love if it had form.

“My star. You shine so brightly.”

Jason suddenly laughed, throwing his head back. “Just like Yaya said, man. She knew this was going to happen all along.”

Yaya? I glanced back and forth between them.

“My grandmother.” Ozzi smiled. “She had a dream that I would find love surrounded by snow. She’s always right.”

“She’s going to love this!” Jason kept chuckling and then kissed me. “She’s going to love you.”

We slowly rose to our feet. I couldn’t wait to hear this story. An oracle for a grandmother. The sprinkles on top of this crazy fairy tale.
