The five men from SW stared at him, frowning and he shrugged his shoulders.

“Listen up everyone. I can confirm for you, right here, right now, today, that the infamous group of Special Operatives, formerly known by many names, including REAPER and Voodoo Guardians, are real! That’s right, they’re real and how do I know that, you might ask? I met them.

“Only a few hours ago, they found me. That’s right, the first in history to actually track down, Leo Bold. I thought for sure my ticket was punched but needless to say, here I am. I was surprised by them. They were different than what I had in my mind but believe me, they were also the same.

“Bigger than life, and I mean that in every way.”

Moose waved his hand across his neck several times. No physical attributes were to be discussed.

“If you folks have been keeping up, you know that we have a dead FBI agent and a dead FBI deputy director that allegedly were just random break-ins. I’m here to tell you that is not the case. Both of these individuals died at the hands of one person and my new friends know who that is.

“Now, I don’t want to share his name because then the whole world is looking for him and he’ll find a way to slither into a hole in the ground somewhere. Instead, what I can tell you is that if this individual, this killer, will reach out to me on my private direct messaging service, I’ll pass along a potential meeting place for you and my new friends. After all, I understand you want them as much as they want you.

“Believe me, listeners, this meeting isn’t wanted by the government, it’s not wanted by the bureau or any of the alphabet soup agencies. This makes them very, very nervous and I can’t wait to see what happens next. As always, I’ll be reporting back to you.

“For now, I’m off on another adventure to find more secrets. Until then, happy trails!”

Leopold turned all the recording instruments off, brought the satellite dish down, and ensured that everything was hidden once again.

“Nice job,” said U-Jin.

“You wrote a good script,” he grinned. “Maybe we should work together more often.”

“Maybe,” smirked Sebastian. “I can see where you’d be helpful. For now, we’ll be in touch with you to see if our boy responds.”

“And my upgrades?” he smirked.

“We keep our promises,” said Moose. “When this is done, you’ll get the studio and home you deserve. You have my word.”

“I believe you,” said Leopold. “I don’t usually believe anyone but I believe you guys. Hey, will you let Priscilla know that I’m glad she’s okay?”

“We’ll be sure to tell her,” said Sebastian.

“And you’ll tell her when you see her where?” he prompted.

“Nice try, Leo but this isn’t our first rodeo. She’s safe. That’s all you need to know. Morris can’t get near her,” said Mike.

“Believe it or not, I’m thrilled to hear that. Just keep her away from him and honestly, keep her from the bureau. She’s too nice to be working there,” he said with sincerity. Moose nodded, opening the door to the motorhome.

“We’ll do our best.”

“Listen up everyone. I can confirm for you, right here, right now, today, that the infamous group of Special Operatives, formerly known by many names, including REAPER and Voodoo Guardians, are real! That’s right, they’re real and how do I know that, you might ask? I met them.”

“Shut up! Turn that up,” said Lawrence Morris screaming to the men in the room.

“Now, I don’t want to share his name because then the whole world is looking for him and he’ll find a way to slither into a hole in the ground somewhere. Instead, what I can tell you is that if you reach out to me on my private direct messaging service, I’ll pass along a potential meeting place for you and my new friends. After all, I understand you want them as much as they want you.”

“So, they know I’m after them,” said Morris staring at his desk. “They must know what I’m after, or they already have what I want, which would mean I will never obtain it. However, I can still kill the men responsible for my father’s death.”

“What do you want to do, sir?” asked his friend and bodyguard, Ricky.

“We’re going to sit on this for a few days and then reach out to this conspiracy man. That will give me time to plan my revenge and ensure that these men pay for what they’ve done.”

CHAPTER TWENTY

River was not looking forward to telling Priscilla that he would be headed to D.C. He knew it had to be done but she was going to want to go with them and he just couldn’t take the chance of Morris seeing her. At the moment, she was with his mother, aunt, and grandmother, and he was sitting in another team meeting.

“But you said you wanted all of us to stay here,” said Quinn.
