“Yes.” Jeanie sighs, voice heavy with need as she tilts her hips again and again. “God, I missed you.”
Lowering my head, I seal my mouth to hers, kissing her thoroughly as we rock together. Learning each other again. And with every slow thrust, we do just that. Neither of us are in any rush to get to the end. We’ve got time now that we’ve found each other.
Little does Jeanie know I’m never letting her go. A Tin man knows when he’s found the woman who’s meant to be his, and he doesn’t let go once he’s found her.
CHAPTER 4
JEANIE
‘I found him,’ was my first thought as Bolt strode towards me from the direction of their clubhouse. Instantly followed by‘Holy fuck,’he’s hotter than I remember.
If that were at all possible. The night we met, he had long black hair tied back with a bit of scruff on his face. He’s since cut it and shaved off the scruff. I’m not sure which I prefer, but what I do know is that this man does it for me in every way. Just the sight of him as he strode towards me, his long, muscular legs eating up the distance between us, had me clenching my thighs and biting back a whimper of need.
Need? Is that the right word for what I’m feeling? Lust? Mm, yep, definitely lust. The man is just that fecking hot. Before I can see if he is interested in another round with me though, I have to tell him my news.
Hopefully, he’ll take his impending fatherhood in the way I think he will. Usually, I am a good judge of character and even though we hadn’t discussed much personal information the evening we met. The way that Bolt had spoken about his parents and siblings and the way he’d treated me screamed family man to me.
I’d forgotten the reason he’d been drowning his sorrows that night, and I hate myself for it, especially when he had a panic attack when I admitted that I was expecting his baby.
I hate that his past had coloured what to me was fantastic news, and once he calmed down and we spoke, I knew without a doubt from his reaction he was just as thrilled as me.
His panic attack has me wanting to find his high school girlfriend and beat the crap out of her. That six years later the not knowing if she’d told him the truth or not still had him spiralling, made me hate her.
He’ll never have to worry about that with me. I’ll make sure he is at every scan and appointment from this day on. And God forbid, should anything happen to our baby, I never want him to have any doubts.
Right now, though, in this moment. Gazing into his eyes as he slowly and sensually slides in and out of my body, my only thought is that I’ve found the man meant for me. The one who makes me feel like I am his sole reason for living.
And when an O’Shea woman finds her man, there is no letting him go. Not twice anyway. Now that I’ve found him again, he better be prepared to put up with me forever.
Much like that first night, there is no awkwardness, just pure lust and perfection as we come down from our high. After Bolt cleans me up, he gathers me to him and pulls the covers over us. Neither of us mention my leaving. When morning comes, we’ll have to make plans and decisions, and we will want to tell our families. But that is a worry for tomorrow; for tonight I am happy to fall asleep in the arms of the man I haven’t forgotten since the night we met.
Turning my head, I press my lips to his chest just as he kisses the crown of my head. I fall asleep with a smile on my face and happiness in my heart.
CHAPTER 5
BOLT
An incessantly ringing phone wakes me the following morning. I don’t recognise the ringtone, so assume it is Jeanie’s. Looking down at the gorgeous, warm, naked woman in my arms, I’m in two minds if I should ignore the phone and wake her up with my tongue on her clit instead. When the phone goes silent and starts up again, I know I have no choice but to answer it. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like I’ll get to wake her the way I’d like this morning.
As quietly as I can, not wanting to wake her, I slip out from under her and tuck in the surrounding blankets to keep her warm. She needs her sleep if she is growing my kid.
I’m not sure if her family knows where she is, and the last thing we need is angry O’Sheas arriving before we’ve made any plans.
Walking naked into the lounge, I find Jeanie’s bag where she threw it on the armchair last night when we entered my home. Normally I wouldn’t dig around in a woman’s bag, but I don’t have much of a choice. Pulling the ringing phone from the depths of her bag, I look at the caller ID and smile in relief when I see her brother-in-law, Sam’s, name rather than her dad’s.
There are also several missed calls from her sister, if the name Sissy means anything. The phone goes silent in my hand, and I breathe a sigh of relief, not wanting it to wake Jeanie up. I’m just about to press the call button when it starts ringing again. It’s her sister again.
I had no choice but to answer it. “You’ve got Jeanie’s phone.”
There’s silence for a beat, then an angry tirade. “Why the fuck are you answering my sister’s phone, and there better not be a hair harmed on her head. In fact, put her on the phone, motherfucker, before I let my family know that she didn’t come home last night.”
Seems that all the O’Shea women were firecrackers. I fucking love strong women.
“You must be Ally,” I reply. “I’d put Jeanie on the phone, but she’s sleeping and I don’t want to wake her. Would a picture of her do so that you know she’s alive and well? I promise that she’s fine. Sam knows me and can vouch for me. You’re also morethan welcome to come out to the Queens Wraiths to check on her.”
“Well feck, she said you’d be reasonable,” she grumbles. I can hear a man’s voice rumble in the background, and they have a whispered conversation. I’m assuming that Ally is filling her old man, Sam, in on our conversation.
While they’re talking, I walk back to my room and take in the sleeping beauty in my bed. Dark hair spread over the navy blue bedding, face peaceful in sleep, her pink lips pursed a little, making me want to nibble on them.
