Even still, I’d just asked a very jealous question. Maybe part of me wanted to know what she’d say. Maybe I wanted to know where I stood in this fucked up Chain we were forming. Skye had told Aiden enough times she didn’t need anyone besides him, and maybe part of her believed that.

“It’s enough,” Skye whispered. I pulled back from her cheek to find her eyes on me, her eyelids flickering but holding my gaze. “You’reenough.”

I was done.

My brain went blank as pleasure consumed me. Her hand tightened on me in the perfect moment, and I shuddered into her hold, just barely holding back a shout. Instead, I whimpered, hooking my fingers inside her again and letting the trembling of my hands finish her off.

Skye let out a beautiful, strangled cry as her free hand tightened on the back of my neck, her nails cutting into my skin, though I didn’t feel it. She pressed her face into my chest, mewling every time she rocked against my hand.

After what seemed like hours, the pleasure finally waned. Skye slumped against me, and I braced myself against the tree to keep from squishing her.

“Oh, my God.” She moaned against my chest. I chuckled as she finally removed her hand from my spent cock, still half hard. I’d be ready to go again in minutes if that’s what she wanted.

Skye pulled back, studying my release as it clung to her hand. I flexed my fingers inside her and she groaned, her eyes snapping to mine. Slowly, she raised her hand, holding eye contact with me before she licked along her palm, cleaning my cum from her fingers.

“Holy fuck,” I muttered, practically ripping my hand away from her heat to do the same.

Intimately holding eye contact while tasting another person wasalmost sexier than anything we’d just done while actually touching each other.

“You taste good,” Skye mumbled a bit shyly. She dipped her head, probably because she wanted to look away, but she only watched me through her lashes.

I sucked my fingers into my mouth to get the last of her off of me before I replied. “You’re exquisite. You can taste me any time you like, darling.”

I slipped my hand around the back of her neck, then pulled her to me for a kiss. She tensed for just a moment, the way women always did when they’d just had your cum in their mouth, but she softened against me as I ran a hand down her back soothingly.

“We’re doing this again,” I said as I pulled back. Skye licked her lips and nodded. “Maybe…with Aiden?”

Skye sucked in a breath, nodding again, her pupils dilating like she was ready fornext timeto beright now.

I held her face in my hands, running my thumbs across her precious cheeks. She was stunning like this, her skin flushed and pink, slightly dampened with sweat from the humid air. The sound of the sea behind us only added to the bubble we’d lost ourselves in, with tropical birds singing around us and the whisper of the wind through the trees.

“Aiden says we should come back,” Skye whispered. “He says Wyatt left the apartment after looking at his phone a lot.”

I breathed out slowly, trying to hide my irritation.

“Do you know who he’d be texting?” Skye asked. “I know it’s none of my business but…I mean…”

“You have a right to be curious,” I said, tenderly running my fingers through her hair. “And unfortunately, yes. I do think I know who he’s texting.”

Tall, brunette, and annoying as hell.

Carissa must have sunk her claws back into him.

Chapter 15

Skye

I’d teleported backto my atoll with Rafe right behind me in the shadows. After a very inappropriate kiss on the boardwalk, he’d let me leave even though my legs wobbled.

Now, I was texting Aiden, who was doing some browsing in the beach shops. I decided to walk my way back to the café so I could clear my head. The weather was gorgeous. There was a nice, beachy breeze pushing my hair into my face every few seconds, so I pulled my hair back into a high ponytail before making my way down to the shops.

There were plenty of people out and about, though it seemed like the holiday rush wasn’t quite here yet. Most people I saw were locals, with a few I didn’t recognize only here and there.

I turned down the main street leading to the café, deciding to pass through the shops. If I ran into Aiden on the way back, I could join him for his shopping.

There was a small crowd gathered in front of one of the restaurants, and the people’s chattering drew me in slightly.

“Can you believe it?” Someone said.
