Stella smiled against her throbbing centre, her fingers digging into Lisa’s thighs. She could do this every day for the rest of her life and never get enough of the sweet noises she made as she brought her to the brink of an orgasm.

Lisa peaked with a loud cry, shaking as she lowered herself further against Stella’s mouth. “Fuck, fuck, fuck!” Breathing fast, she stayed there while aftershocks coursed through her, causing Stella to shiver in bliss. “Fuck,” she said again, then laughed at how noisy she’d been. “This might be the best day of my life.”

“I’m with you on that.” Stella grinned at her when Lisa crawled back, bringing them face to face. “You’re staying…”

“Uh-huh.” Lisa smiled back at her and licked her lips. “As I said, this must be the best day of my life.”

“It’s crazy that we only met in June.” Stella’s eyes met Lisa’s and she was delighted to see that they were filled with joy. “You were so sad back then.”

“I was a mess. It’s amazing how love can change everything.” Lisa took her phone from the bedside table and showed Stella her screensaver. “Look. I just remembered this was on here, I didn’t register it anymore.”

“What does it say? I can hardly read it through all the apps you have on there.”

“It’s a wish list of things I wanted to accomplish. I wrote it before I came to Spain.” Lisa held it up and read it out. “One – Find a job. Two – find a flat in South West London. Three – Make new friends. Four – Be healthy and happy.”

“It looks like you managed to get three out of four and that’s not bad,” Stella said, then kissed her softly. “So, I assume you’ll scrape that flat off your list?”

“I think it’s time to delete the list altogether.” Lisa curled up against her and held her phone above them. “Smile.”

Stella stole another kiss as Lisa took a picture of them, then reached for her phone. “Cute,” she said, studying their happy faces. The Spanish sun had kissed Lisa’s skin and she had a golden tan now. Her eyes were bright and clear, and her smile was so infectious that she cheered up everyone around her. She was confident and calm within herself, the restlessness replaced by a drive that had surprised them both. And Stella had changed too, she noticed. She was glowing, her eyes loving and affectionate as they focused on Lisa. Her hair was a bit longer, but it suited her and she too looked radiant. “I think we should hang this on the wall of your new permanent home.” She pointed to the wall opposite the bed. “Right there.”

“Yes, let’s do that. And it’s going to be my new screensaver too.” Lisa fiddled with her phone until the picture appeared on her home screen. “This is my new list. Just you and me. It’s all that matters.”

“My God, I’ve never seen so many rainbows in my life.” Lisa laughed as she sat down at the bar with Marcy. The women’s weekend at Paradise was in full swing, the outdoor premises decorated with rainbow flags, balloons and banners. The guests were clad in colourful outfits too, in rainbow striped sarongs with leis around their necks. She’d returned from Sitges last night and had missed the first night, but that was a good thing, she supposed. During events people tended to loosen up on day two, after getting the first awkward acquaintances out of the way. The atmosphere was happy and celebratory, many dancing and singing along to the band that was playing on the stage by the poolside.

“Fuck the rainbows, I’ve never seen so many cute women in my life.” Marcy chuckled as she glanced around. “Thanks for bringing me. I tried to get tickets but failed.”

“You’re welcome. Thought you could do with a break after all the hard work. You never seem to stop.” Lisa studied the drinks menu and laughed. “How about a unicorn?”

“A unicorn sounds good. I may need some liquid courage to approach that hot girl over there.” Marcy pointed to a woman with a short black bob who was dancing on the other side of the pool. Her hips were swaying to the beat, her fit body on display in only a pink bikini and a tiny matching sarong.

“She looks cute indeed, at least from behind. But there’s someone even hotter here.” Lisa winked at Stella, who walked past them with a hand full of inflatables.

“Hey, sexy.” Stella surprised Lisa by kissing her full on the mouth.

“I don’t think you’re supposed to do that here,” Lisa mumbled against her lips.

Stella shot her a mischievous grin. “I know, but how can I resist when you’re dressed in a bikini and those tiny shorts?”

“Hmm… you’re looking pretty good yourself.” When their eyes locked, Lisa felt her core flutter. Stella was most definitely the hottest woman here, and she was all hers. The rainbow vest top showed off Stella’s toned shoulders and her legs looked endless in the denim shorts. “It’s a shame you can’t join us.”

“It is, but even working here is fun today.” Stella smiled. “The atmosphere is amazing, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many happy, flirty people together.” She turned to Marcy. “And I bet you’re feeling like a kid in a sweet shop.”

“I sure am.” Marcy was still staring at the dancing woman, but her expression dropped to utter shock when the woman turned around. “What the fuck…”

Lisa followed her gaze and burst out laughing. It was Zoe, and she was clearly just as surprised to see them from across the pool. She waved at her, then nudged Marcy to do the same. “Go on, don’t be rude.”

Marcy gave her a brief wave, then turned her attention back to her drink. “Damn it. Of all the people.”

“Is that the one we don’t mention?” Stella asked her.

“Yes, that’s Zoe.” Marcy sighed. “What a way to ruin my day.”

“She’s pretty. Maybe now is a good time to kiss and make up.” Stella shot her an amused look and turned on her heel. “Well, have a lovely day, ladies. Let’s have a drink somewhere after I finish.”

“Here you go.” The bartender put two huge bulb glasses in front of them, filled with layers of colourful alcohol that were impossible to identify, topped off with a strawberry, rainbow parasols, rainbow straws and a glowstick.
