“Yes.” Stella looked pleased with herself as she looked her over, clearly liking that Lisa was already starting to lose control. “And you know what we used to do back in the day?”
“What did you do?” Lisa’s breath hitched when she saw the mischievous look on Stella’s face.
“What every lesbian teenager did…” Stella turned around and straddled Lisa with her back to her, then bent forward and ran her tongue through her folds.
“Oh, my G—” Lisa held her breath and bit her lip, the delicious sensations it caused almost too much. Stella’s mouth on her made her throb and having her wetness right in front of her turned her on like nothing else. She roughly pulled her in by her hips and did the same, sating her sexual appetite by licking and sucking at Stella’s heated flesh until her thighs started trembling. It was exciting to keep quiet even though she felt like screaming her name and when she darted her tongue inside of her, Stella clearly felt the same, uttering a soft groan between her thighs.
Both shaking, they feasted on each other as silently as they were physically capable of. Lisa felt Stella tense first, her thighs clenching against her cheeks as she jerked back against her tongue. The moment was so erotic that her own orgasm ignited and spread like wildfire, quicker than she could fathom. She held Stella’s thighs in a tight grip, and Stella held onto hers, undoubtedly leaving fingermarks on her skin as she was squeezing her so hard it stung. The delicious pain and Stella’s skilled tongue that didn’t stop stimulating her elevated her state, drawing her climax out for long moments and surprising her with aftershocks that made her whole body convulse.
Stella went limp and chuckled between her legs. “Mmm… It’s been a while…”
“Let me assure you, you haven’t lost your skills,” Lisa whispered with a sigh. “Come up here, baby, and let me hold you.” She took Stella in her arms and sighed in contentment. Warm wind blew over them through the open window and she smiled when Stella’s breathing steadied before they fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Seville was—if possible—even more glorious by day and Lisa couldn’t stop snapping pictures and gushing about how pretty the city was. Stella’s heart swelled at how adorable she was, her enthusiasm infectious as she strutted around, taking everything in. They’d stopped to buy an ice cream to share and were sitting on the edge of a fountain on Plaza Doña Elvira, watching life go by. Surrounded by ceramic benches, orange trees and bustling restaurants, it was one of her favourite places, one she used to visit frequently when she still lived here. The sun shining through the trees created a slowly moving leafy pattern all over the square and the tables, and despite the crowd, the atmosphere here was dreamy and peaceful.
“This is the birthplace of Doña Elvira,” she said. “The impossible love of Don Juan.”
“How romantic.” Lisa handed her the cone. “There’s so much history here, it’s—” Her phone rang and she looked irritated as she checked the caller ID and turned it off. It had happened a couple of times in the past days and Stella was starting to wonder what was going on.
“Everything okay?” she asked.
Lisa hesitated as she glanced at her phone, then let out a long sigh. “Actually, it’s Sandrine,” she finally said.
“Your ex?” Stella felt her heart sink. Was she back in contact with her again? And what did that mean for them?
“Yes. A job has come up at the company she works for in New York. She wants me to apply for it; she says I have a very good chance of getting it if she endorses me.”
“Is it the right job for you?”
“Yes, it’s an amazing job and it would be a step up for me but—”
“Hey, no ‘buts’. This is what you wanted, isn’t it?” Stella pursed her lips. “It’s good news. For you, anyway.” She didn’t mean to sound negative. After all, Lisa had been job hunting all along and with her CV, she would be crazy to throw her career away by refusing such an opportunity. She’d always known this day would come; she just hadn’t expected her to want to move so far away.
Lisa flinched, and she was silent for long moments. “Do youwantme to move away?”
“No, of course I don’t want you to move away, especially not to New York, but I don’t want to limit you in your career either because that wouldn’t do either of us any good.”
“You’re not limiting me,” Lisa said. “You make me happy. That’s more than any job ever could. I was actually going to discuss this with you when we got back but now that we’re talking…” She took Stella’s hand and gave her a shy smile. “I want to know exactly how you feel about me because honestly, I don’t want to be so far away from you either.”
“Oh…” Stella believed her when their eyes locked. and she slowly let out the breath she’d been holding.
“Your mother was asking a lot of questions while you were in the shower this morning,” Lisa continued.
“Really? About what?” Stella frowned, confused at the random change of subject.
“Just about how we were going to make this work when I move back to London.”
Stella groaned and raised her gaze skyward. “Oh, God, not again. I told her to stay out of it. Look, I know your life is not here; I’ve known that all along and although I’m delighted that you were able to stay for longer, I never expected you to move here because of me. Neither should my mother. She just likes you so much and she probably sees how crazy I am about you but that doesn’t give her the right to get involved.”
“Well, I told her how I felt about you,” Lisa said shyly, avoiding her gaze.
“You did?”
“Yes. I’m not sure why but I found myself opening up to her. I told her you were the best thing that’s ever happened to me. That meeting you was worth every agonising event that happened before I came to Spain because it led me to you.” Lisa smiled. “It’s true. I’d do it all over again. The break-up, the redundancy, losing my home…” She hesitated. “And to be honest with you, I can’t stand the thought of going back to London, let alone New York because I don’t want you part-time. I want you all the time.”
“I’m…” Stella swallowed hard. “I’m not sure if I want to leave Spain now that it’s going so well with my job and I have the house and the cats and—”
