“I’m tired,” he whispered.

“Then sleep,” I said. “I’ll keep you safe.”

Kevin made a contented noise and rested his head against my chest. It wasn’t long before his breathing leveled out, and he slipped against me, sliding just an inch or so as his body settled into sleep. I should probably have moved him to the bed, but the water was warm and I was more awake and alert than I had been in longer than I could remember. I wrapped my arms around Kevin and held him while he rested.

I didn’t know how much time had passed when he came to, but it was slow and easy, and he turned between my legs, taking my face in his waterlogged hands and kissing me. I could taste us in his mouth, and I let him explore me with his tongue and his fingers.

“Do we have to wait until the summer?”Kevin leaned back just enough to ask the question, his eyes awake and scanning my face for the hint of an answer.

“No,” I answered.

“I don’t want to wait,” he said. “There’s too much between us.”

I didn’t know if he meant Foster and Carmen, or if he meant the laundry list of ideas we had to explore between us. But either way, I didn’t want to wait another second to make the man between my legs my husband.

“Tomorrow,” I suggested.

Kevin smiled and kissed me again.

His approval.

His consent.

“Let me wash you now,” I whispered against his mouth, turning him around and reaching for the soap. I gave him a quick enough onceover, then rinsed him clean. Outside the tub, I rubbed ointment on his ass, even though he argued with me the whole time, then I wrapped him in a towel and ushered him into the living room. I gave him an easy push toward the couch, grabbed two bottles of water from the kitchen, and sat down beside him.

“Where do you want to get married?” I asked, twisting the top off one of the bottles and handing it to him.

“No place sacred,” he answered with a low laugh.

“Did you want it to be…” I trailed off, dragging my tongue across the front of my teeth. “Did you want it to be a church thing or a sex thing?”

“I want it to be legal.”

“Of course,” I agreed.

“But…”

“A sex thing.”

He blushed and raised the bottle to his lips, taking a large swallow. I watched the muscles of his throat work, the imprint of my fingers around his neck long gone from the time spent in the bath.

“Just us, or do you want witnesses?” I asked.

He twisted the cap back onto the bottle. “I don’t know,” he muttered.

“You’re a liar.”

“Ronan, please.”

“Please what?” I asked, turning and grabbing his cheeks between my fingers, pulling his face toward me. “Please have all our friends watch while I make you promise to submit? To love? To obey?”

He exhaled out his mouth, a shaking and tremulous sound that went straight to my cock.

“That’s a big ask, Kevin. It’s a big thing.” I let him go, dragging my fingers over the place where I’d held him tight. My nails had left divots in his skin, but he didn’t look like he minded.

“This is a big thing,” he whispered. “We are a big thing.”

“I have plans on how to show you how much I love you, Kevin. If we do this…if we do this with our friends, they are all going to get a front row seat at all the ways I’ve only ever dreamt of desecrating you.”
