If I’m reading this, I want to remember how happy I feel in this very moment.
I’m not sure when I will receive this letter (if I ever do!), but like I’ve learned to do often, I wanted to pause and take a little snapshot of my life, and well, count my blessings! I know things are looking a bit scary right now, with a holiday marathon, so many things to do, so many people to see! Maybe things won’tgo the way we want, and maybe there will be a few hiccups, but no matter what, I want to try my very best.
I want future Ophelia to always be optimistic, loving, and kind. No matter what happens to us, I know life is beautiful, full of surprises, encounters, and opportunities! So, this one is just for myself, and for you, my future me:
We have awesome colleagues, fantastic friends, an amazing family, an incredible and loving boyfriend, and the most adorable kitties!
You are kind, loving, brave, loyal, great at baking, growing, and learning to love ourselves more and more every day!
You can always change, try again and harder, rest when we need to, ask for support, and deserve each blessing that comes our way.
You deserve to feel beautiful, safe, loved, healthy, and happy.
And even if things get a little bit hard (because that happens, doesn’t it?), I’m sure you will be okay! Because you’re more resilient, stronger and braver than you think. Because you have so many people who love and support you, and most importantly, we believe in us, don’t we?
So, whatever happens this Christmas, whatever the new year brings…
I believe you’ll be alright.
And I’m sure we will make something beautiful out of it!
