The process was repeated in another earth-shattering climax, triggered by Daddy’s cock bursting inside her, his milky release going deep into her womb and claiming her forever as his own.

At that moment, all Annika’s past and her troubles and the danger facing them was a million miles away.

What mattered was Daddy.

And she knew she was his. Fully and completely.

It was the most tremendous feeling.

Chapter Twenty-Six

“I’m such a sleepy head!” Annika said as she hopped out of bed the next morning.

The sun was already shining brightly through the window. The mansion was alive with morning sounds. Pleasant aromas drifted all the way upstairs from the kitchen.

“Smells like pancakes!” she said excitedly as she hurried from the room.

In the hallway, she nearly bumped into Matteo as he was coming the opposite way.

“There you are. I was just coming up to check on you.”

She blushed. “Sorry. I normally don’t sleep this late. I’m not lazy. I promise.”

The truth was she was often awake before the morning sun, but that was because the hard pavement wasn’t very comfortable. Plus, sometimes, it was best to get moving.

She was too embarrassed to elaborate on all that, though.

“No need to apologize. Honey, you need to sleep as much as your body tells you to. Lots of rest for you to catch up on.”

She nodded. Daddy understood. It had been so long since she’d truly rested.

For some reason, she still felt a bit embarrassed about it all. Perhaps one day she wouldn’t be so ashamed of her past.

Her not-so-distant past. Annika still couldn’t believe that less than a week earlier she’d been sleeping in alleys around Hollywood.

“Breakfast is ready. Then, I thought I could take you shopping again.” The eager look on his face told her that Daddy loved spoiling his princess.

That made the embarrassment turn into guilt. She didn’t like such a fuss being made over her. And she didn’t need so many things. A few outfits was perfect.

“But first, can we talk? In the bedroom,” Matteo said.

She followed him inside.

He closed the door and began. “I know you haven’t really had time to think about the plan the guys laid out last night. But I want you to know that there is no pressure on you to do this.” He gave her a half-smile. “Honestly, I’m not sure I’d even allow you to. But…” A pained look shaded his handsome face as he continued. “…I also know this is your life. Edward Marlot stole something from you. And as much as I want to protect you, I wouldn’t be a very good Daddy if I didn’t give you the chance to make it all right.” He paused thoughtfully. “Or as right as it can be, given all the took from you.”

She contemplated his words for a moment. “So, you’re saying it’s my choice?”

He didn’t seem thrilled about it, but he nodded and added, “Within reason.”

Having a Daddy would take some getting used to. But she sure loved it.

“I want to do it,” she said.

“You’re sure?”

“If there’s even a slight chance this will work, then I have to take it, because I don’t see another way. I need to do this for me.For you all. And for everyone. He’s stolen lots of personal data from nearly every American alive. And people who are gone. Who knows what he’s going to use it for? But it can’t be good.” She shrugged. “Anyway, it’s wrong on principle.”

Matteo looked proud as he wrapped his arms around her. “I respect that. We’ll do this. Together.”
