Iris gulped. “No, Sir.”

“And do you need a spanking to be reminded of that?”

“No, Sir!”

“Then shape up, missy,” Jack commanded.

The look on Iris’s face told Annika the other Little wouldn’t step out of line anytime soon.

“I don’t mean to intrude,” Stryker said, “but it might be good if they’re here. Because I think this plan is going to take all of us.”

Now Annika’s curiosity was really piqued!

“We’re not proposing you put your cuties in harm’s way,” Harrison quickly chimed in. “But to pull this one off, we might all have to pitch in.”

Annika watched as the Daddies exchanged glances with one another. Finally, after looking back at Harrison and Stryker, Jack said, “I don’t mind the girls staying if the others don’t.”

Matteo nodded. “I figured Little Annika would learn about this sooner or later. It involves her.”

She sat up straighter, ready to listen with bated breath.

What on earth was going on?

Chapter Twenty-Four

Matteo was curious as to what Harrison and Stryker had cooked up.

With those two, there was no telling.

He wouldn’t have to wait long, it seemed. The guys were eager to share their plan.

They were standing while everyone else sat. Matteo had Little Annika on his lap, holding her tight as they listened.

“I’m going to cast this presentation from my phone onto the TV here,” Stryker said as he switched on the large flat screen that was mounted to the wall.

“You have a whole presentation?” Jack asked.

“Not really a presentation, I guess,” Stryker said. “But this will be easier with some visual aids.”

“After you called us and filled us in on the Edward Marlot situation, we did some digging,” Harrison stated while his best friend got the TV set up. “And I can’t say I’m surprised by what you shared. Whoever would have imagined that handing the personal data to hundreds of millions of people to a private citizen with more money and technology than most countries would have ended poorly?”

A few in the room chuckled.

Stryker looked up from his phone. “As you all know, the hard part will be proving this.”

On Matteo’s lap, Annika spoke up. “It’ll be impossible! He keeps all that information on a server that is locked down. No connection. Only accessed when he wants the data. Trust me, there aren’t any hacking points. I’ve thought it over.”

“Right,” Stryker said. “But when Jack called us earlier and told us what you’d said, he mentioned you could hack it—if you were physically there.”

“I could. Yeah.”

Harrison arched his eyebrow. “You’re really that good?”

Matteo felt his babygirl tense. A few second passed before she said, “Yeah. I think so.”

“It’s okay to be truthful of your abilities,” he told her. “You aren’t bragging, honey. Just being honest.”

She relaxed in his arms. “I can do it. I need some pretty high-powered equipment. But sure. I can get past their encryption.” She gave a soft laugh. “I designed some of it.”
