“That’s because he is dirty.” Tyler rolled her eyes. “They all fucking dirty.”
After being released from jail, Tyler went straight to Oakwood only to find out she was banned from entering the building. It was probably a good thing because she wasn’t there to give Darryl a piece of her mind. She was ready for war. Tyler didn’t even make it to the lobby before the security team stormed toward her. You would’ve thought that she was carrying a bomb the way they surrounded her, ushering her back out of the building. Tyler cursed, tried to fight the guards, and toldeveryone to suck her bloody pussy before Shane and Aria were able to get her in the car.
“They are, but God don’t like ugly. Things look bad right now, but I have faith that things will work out in your favor. Until it does, I got your back,” Shane promised.
And he did. Not only did he buy her a new wardrobe, but Shane also bought all her personal items and a new phone that she hadn’t activated.
“I know you do.” She smiled genuinely. “But I'm still not in the mood to go out.”
“Too bad. We’re going!” Shane snapped his fingers.
“We can eat here.”
“No, we need fresh air and you need to eat. You looking like you on that shit.” He twisted his lips.
“I wish, high people don’t have to worry about sober people's problems.”
“Aht aht, lil Whitney Houston. If you start snorting dope, I’ll be the first to lock yo ass up in somebody's rehab center.”
“Shut up.” Tyler rolled out of the bed. “I’ll be ready in an hour.”
“Take your time. Soak. Wash and then soak again. Do you want a wig? I have a couple from this company I need to promote.”
“No, I’m not in the mood for all that. I’m going to wear a hat.”
“Ay,” he threw his hands up. “If you wanted to walk out of the house in a thong and cowgirl boots, I'll take it.”
“Hush, fool.”
Tyler sluggishly dragged her body to the bathroom. She felt heavy, and what she really needed to do was sleep the rest of her sleeping pill off, but Shane wasn’t taking no for an answer. If going out to eat was going to make his worrying stop, Tyler had no choice but to suck it up.
Rounding the corner to the bathroom, Tyler broke out into a grin. Shane was everything, and if nobody loved her, he did. The candle-lit bathroom was everything she needed. Shane already had her bathroom essentials ready. The tub was filled with lavender bubble bath and a glass of wine was on the counter.
“If you liked pussy I swear I’d give you some,” Tyler hollered, sticking her head out of the door.
“Girl, I almost threw up in my mouth,” Shane gagged. “Get yo horny ass in the shower. At least wash your ass before you try to offer me some.”
“Fuck you,” Tyler tittered, shutting the bathroom door.
Stripping from her clothes, Tyler picked up the glass and stared into the mirror. The person staring back almost caused the glass to slip from her hands. Dry skin, crusty lips, and Raccoon-like eyes stared back at her. She hadn’t showered in days, but she didn’t think she lookedthatbad. It was official. Tyler had turned into one of the bitches they talked about.
“Friend, Aria said she got the table and they’re holding it for forty minutes.”
“Ok,” I’ll be out in a minute,” she told him, downing the wine in her glass before stepping into the hot water. Once her body adjusted to the temperature, Tyler inched further into the water until her body was submerged beneath the bubbles.
There was so much to do that Tyler didn’t know where to start. Shane didn’t mind her being at his house, he actually lovedit. He was never home anyway, but Tyler wanted her own space. She hated being depressed around people because they always tried to fix the situation instead of letting her be. Tyler wasn’t in the correct headspace to be fixed.
“Ugh,” Tyler groaned, lowering her head into the water.

Logic rubbed the back of his neck, slightly annoyed at his current situation. Glancing around the table, he noticed that his sisters held the same blank expression. If they weren’t over Scottie before, they were over her now. She was annoying and doing entirely too much. When they stopped at the dealership to pick up his truck, Scottie had her phone out, recording his every move. Logic drew the line at her trying to go live. He didn’t need everyone in his business, and Scottie was having a hard time comprehending that.
When they pulled up at Sommerset Mall, Logic tried to keep his head low, but Scottie kept saying his name out loud. She was hanging all over him, baby talking at the counter, and pouting when he told her to put shit back. The entire time they shopped, she recorded them. While he paid for her items, she had her phone in his face, thanking him for being such a good man. The twins checked out seconds into the shopping trip and asked Logic if they could walk around with Sage. He unwillingly agreed to let them and Scottie was ecstatic. She was tired of the low groans and slick comments from the twins.
Now that they were eating, her phone was in everyone's face, scanning everyone's plate. Logic couldn’t even enjoy his meal without her taking food off his plate. He tried to be cool because she was on live, but again, Scottie was doing the most.
“Oh my god, these beignets bites are amazing,” she moaned in the camera while taking another piece of bacon from Logic’s plate. “And the bacon.” Scottie’s eyes rolled in the back of her head like it was the best thing she had ever tasted. “Crispy as fuck.”
