And then Fox was pulling Colin off Dane’s softening cock and laying him on his back, folding their mate’s legs up against his chest. “You can take some more, can’t you, slayer?” he asked, already driving into him as Colin moaned lustily.

Fox started fucking him hard and fast, not nearly as nonchalant as he’d been pretending to be earlier, not that he’d been fooling anyone.

Dane stretched and rose from the bed, then walked to the bathroom to get the wet washcloth Colin would be demanding soon. He took his time—he was feeling a little woozy, actually—and by the time he got back, Fox was grinding his hips down and emptying himself into their mate as he kissed Colin with surprising sweetness.

He stayed there for a long moment, cupping Colin’s cheeks and staring into his eyes. Eventually he rolled off with a contented sigh, and Dane slid in next to them on his side, using the washcloth he’d brought to clean Colin first.

Colin turned his head to smile at Dane—all sweet and dazed like he always was after a good fuck—and then frowned. “Why do you look even paler than usual?”

Fox laughed. “Because you were feeding on him like a starved man. We’re going to have to hunt tonight to make up for his blood loss, you little fiend.”

“Oh.” Colin poked a finger into Dane’s forehead. “Stop me next time.”

Dane shrugged. “It was hot. Nothing a little blood won’t fix. After dinner though. Your dad’s coming out.”

“You invited my dad?” Colin asked, sounding both pleased and surprised.

“Yeah, figured we could treat him to some fancy shit he’ll probably hate,” Fox told him. “He deserves a good night out.”

And then they were graced with the rare sight of Colin’s eyes softening in the way almost no one ever got to see. He pulled Dane in for a kiss so soft and sweet Dane thought he might have imagined it, and then he did the same to Fox. “I guess the whole fancy pool vacation bullshit isn’t that bad,” he murmured.

Dane grinned over Colin’s head at Fox, who grinned right the fuck back. Colin could snark at them all he wanted, but they were so fucking good at this boyfriend shit.

“Smug,” Colin grumbled as he snuggled into Dane’s side. “So fucking smug.”

ABSOLUTELY NOT

Colin

At the three sharp knocks, Colin opened the front door, only to slam it back shut immediately. “Absolutely not.”

He could hear Jamie’s delighted cackle through the thick wood of the door. “Oh my God, this is fuckingperfect.”

“It’s the opposite of perfect,” Colin said evenly, aware that Jamie’s vampire senses would let his quiet words be heard. “You need to leave. Go home.”

Jamie was cackling again, the dick.

“You’re green,” Colin insisted, trying to make sense of the travesty that was occurring here. “You’ve been green forever now.”

“I wanted a little change.”

When it was clear Jamie wasn’t leaving, Colin opened the door again, scowling at his friend across the threshold. His friend whose hair was now dyed a perfect dark blue. The exact same dark blue Colin had dyed his hair just the night before. He hadn’t even seen Jamie since then, so he knew this…thismess…was entirely accidental.

Matching. They werematching.

“Dye it back,” Colin ordered.

Jamie was smiling beatifically, undaunted by Colin’s immense displeasure. “This is the best day of my life. We look adorable.”

“You’re not allowed back here until this is fixed.”

Jamie—allergic to the concept of boundaries and personal space and the unspoken rules of hair dye—just barged in anyway. When Colin gave him a death glare in return, he held his hands up in supplication. “Dude. You can’t take this away from me yet. You have to give me one night.”

Colin arched a skeptical brow. “I do?”

Jamie nodded. “And a selfie.”

“In exchange for…?”
