He pulls back, wiping the tear from my cheek with his thumb, his smirk wicked and triumphant.

“Next time,” he whispers, eyes burning into mine, “I’ll let Vex crawl a little lower. Just to see how much you can really handle.”

And as my heart pounds and my skin tingles with leftover fear, I know I’m already too far gone to resist him.

My body shook uncontrollably, still vibrating from the moment he took from me, but he doesn’t give me time to regain composure. Damien watches me with that wicked, possessiveglint in his eyes, one hand still gripping my jaw, the other brushing lightly over the container where Vex rests.

He tilts his head, considering, and a slow, dark smile curves his lips.

“You did so well, Little Spider,” he murmurs, pressing his lips to my forehead, almost gently. “But I think we can push it a little further, don’t you?”

My heart hammers against my ribs, and I shake my head, but he just smirks, reaching into the container to let Vex crawl onto his hand again. The spider moves with eerie grace, its legs fanning out, and I freeze, my breath caught in my throat.

“You’re going to stay very, very still,” he warns, his voice low and deadly. “If you move too fast… well, I can’t guarantee Vex will like it.”

My stomach flips, and I feel sweat prickling at the back of my neck. I don’t dare move, my legs still spread wide from the way he held me earlier, and he takes advantage of that—nudging my thighs further apart with his knee.

He lowers his hand slowly, letting Vex crawl onto my bare stomach, and I feel every brush of her legs against my skin. A strangled sound escapes my throat, but I force myself to stay completely still.

“That’s it,” Damien purrs, running his thumb over my lower lip. “You can take it. I know you can. You’re so good at being brave for me.”

The spider moves lower, tracing the line of my stomach, and I can’t breathe, every muscle locked in terror. Damien’s mouth skims over my jaw, his tongue flicking out to taste my skin, but I barely register it—too focused on the slow, crawling movement of Vex as she inches closer to my hip.

His hand slips down to grip my thigh, squeezing hard enough to bruise, and he leans in to whisper against my ear.

“Do you know what I love about this?” he murmurs, his voice dripping with dark satisfaction. “It’s not just the fear. It’s how your body betrays you. Even now, you’re soaking wet, thighs trembling, because deep down, you love that I can make you feel this way.”

I can’t help the whimper that slips out, and he chuckles, dark and menacing.

“Vex likes the heat,” he continues, dragging his lips down my neck. “She can feel your pulse racing. Feel how your skin is burning up. Maybe she thinks you’re inviting her lower.”

He trails his fingers down my stomach, right next to where Vex is inching closer to my hip. I try to keep my breathing steady, but my chest feels too tight, like I’m drowning.

“I wonder,” Damien murmurs, slipping his fingers under the waistband of my pants, tugging them lower, exposing more of my skin. “If she crawls lower… would you stay still for me? Or would you risk it all just to run?”

The spider moves again, one leg brushing the sensitive skin right above my hip bone, and I gasp, my body jerking involuntarily. Damien’s hand tightens on my throat, pressing me back against the pedestal, his eyes narrowing.

“Careful,” he growls, his voice rough with warning. “One wrong move, and she might just decide to bite.”

My pulse races, and he grins, clearly enjoying the way my fear mixes with arousal, the way my body reacts even when my mind screams to stop.

Vex crawls lower, her legs tracing the curve of my hip, and I whimper, trying not to move, trying not to let the panic take over. Damien dips his head, his tongue dragging over the swell of my breast, and I can’t stop the shiver that runs through me.

“You’re doing so well,” he taunts, fingers sliding between my thighs, brushing over my wetness. “See? Your body knows who itbelongs to. Even with the spider crawling over you, you’re aching for me.”

His fingers push inside me, slow and rough, and I can’t help the moan that slips out, my legs spreading wider to give him better access. Vex moves again, one leg brushing dangerously close to my lower stomach, and I freeze, my breath hitching.

Damien smirks, pressing a kiss to my shoulder, his teeth scraping over the skin.

“You’re so fucking beautiful like this,” he whispers. “Pinned down, terrified, but still letting me ruin you. You’d let me do anything, wouldn’t you? Even with danger crawling all over you.”

He thrusts his fingers deeper, curling just right, and I can’t stop the way my hips buck, desperate for more. Vex shifts, moving down along the line of my pelvis, and I whimper, trying to stay still even as pleasure coils tighter inside me.

“If she crawls lower,” he taunts, his mouth hot against my ear, “right between those pretty legs… would you scream? Or would you just let it happen? Because you know I’d hold you down, make you take it. Make you feel everything.”

Tears sting my eyes, and I can’t tell if it’s from the fear or the way his fingers are relentless, pushing me closer to the edge. Vex moves lower and brushes over the spot where his hand is buried between my thighs, and I choke on a sob.

Damien’s hand moves to my throat, squeezing just enough to make my vision blur, his teeth grazing my jaw.
