“Do you remember the tattoo on my arm?”
Nova nods, wrapping the sheets around her naked body as she curls into my arms. “Yes.”
“It’s the constellation of Sagittarius. And the star in the middle...”
“The star in the middle?” she whispers, pressing a kiss right on the tattoo.
“It’s a supernova.”
Her eyes light up the moment I reveal the real meaning hidden behind the tattoo on my arm. Her messy hair falls like a cascade across the pillows, the dim glow of the bedside lamp painting her face in soft light. Her cheeks are flushed, her lips curved in a radiant, satisfied smile.
The smirk tugging at her mouth makes my heart skip a beat. It’s all too good to be true. “A supernova, huh?”
I nod, and she straddles me again, placing her hands on either side of my head on the pillow, pinning me in place. “Hey.”
I smile, gripping her hips. “Hey, baby.”
“Can I tell you something?” she asks.
“Sure.” I chuckle.
Her grin widens, eyes locked on mine. “You’re my best friend.”
I raise a brow, amused. “I thought I was your lover.”
“You’re my lover-bestie.”
“Sounds cool. I love it.”
“Can I tell you something else?” she asks again, that wicked smirk never leaving her lips.
“What is it?”
“You’re hot as fuck, Vincent Cooper. I love when you’re naked under me.”
I chuckle and pull her closer. “You’re hotter, baby. You have no idea how much.”
Her grin widens before she crashes her lips onto mine. She bites my lower lip, sucks on it. Her mouth showers mine with kisses while she holds my hair tight in her hands.
We don’t need protection anymore since she started the pill, so she settles over me and grinds her hips against mine, cupping my face in her hands as she kisses me.
“Yes... this is really hot, Marshall. Don’t ever stop kissing me.”
She shakes her head, refusing to let go of my mouth. I hold her tighter by the hips, guiding her movements as she presses harder against me.
“We’re written in the stars, see?” she whispers, nodding toward the glowing stars stuck on the ceiling.
I smile, then flip us over, pressing her down into the mattress. I lace our fingers together above her head on the pillow and brush a kiss on the tip of her nose while she hooks her legs around my waist, opening herself to me.
“We are, baby,” I murmur, trailing kisses down her neck. “I thinkwewrote the stars.”
“We did?” she whispers.
I nod. “Yeah.”
The first time we had sex, it was as awkward as it was beautiful. I didn’t really know how to move, what to do for her. The websites aren’t really helpful; they don’t give you real advice. You only learn by feeling, by trying.
