“Are you seriously ready to be recognised with a pair ofcurvas?” Josh asks Heath. “I mean for real. Ella’s profile is growing at a crazy pace, and it’s not just regulars out for a good time anymore. It’s the big profile names who don’t give a fuck about the association. But is that you? Honestly? Are you going to be like them, and not give a fuck that the whole world knows your sexuality and the fact you’re in love with a duo of hookers?”

Heath takes a sip of champagne. His eyes flit to the huge ships outside.

“It’s going to have to happen at some point if we want to take that voyage together. And times are changing. Nighttime Whispers is going to come to an end at some point. Rumour has it next series.”

My heart drops at that.

“And where will you go? What will you do? Movies? Another TV show?” I stop as my mind whirs. “You could be living in the States, right? What if you get offered a mega deal?”

“I don’t know,” Heath answers, with the honesty on full display in his eyes. “All I know is that whatever path lies ahead, I want to walk it along with you. How we get there, I don’t have a clue, and how I’ll cope with the publicity when it happens, I don’t know. But I will cope with it, when the time is right. I’ll have to.”

“So, what do we do in the meantime?” Josh asks. “Where do we go from here?”

The silence between us is heavy again, but it’s not ominous any more. We’re all on the same page.

In love, and in for the long haul.

“Someone put it out there,” Josh says. “I’m Mr Rational, but what about you guys? Do you have any amazing ideas up your sleeve? Have you been preparing any PowerPoint slides in the background?”

I can’t resist.

“Normal,” I giggle. “We do normal, whatever that means, because it’s meaning is going to change as we change. As our lives change. As everything around us changes. All we know is that the three of us, loving each other, is the new normal. That’s all that really matters, right?”

The two guys weigh it up.

Heath pours us a fresh round of champagne with a nod of his head and a smile on his face that would make fans faint, all around the world.

“I’m in,” he says. “To normal. And to us reaching that destination.”

“Me, too,” Josh says, and raises his glass. “To normal.”

“Normal,” we decide, all three of us smiling in unison.

“A new normal,” Heath says. “A normal that suits us.”

“A normal that fulfils all three of us,” Josh says. “That works, whatever the costs.”

“No fears,” Heath says.

“No holding back,” I add.

“No bullshit roadblocks to the power of being in love,” Josh finishes up.

And so it’s decided.

The course ahead may be unknown and uncharted, but the outcome really isn’t.

The outcome is us, being us, together for ever in heart and soul. It just might take us a while to get there, but that doesn’t matter.

How we get there is irrelevant. The end destination is all that counts.

I’m still sipping my De Chante when the guys take position, back on the bed for another round to begin. I stare out at the cargo ships with a heady grin, blessed that I’m going to get what I want in the short term, as well as the long term.

“Sweet curva,” Heath says, “Come pull up the armchair for a front row view.”

Josh’s ass is in the air. Heath is twisting two fingers in, his hard cock in his other hand.

“Sure thing,” I say, topping up my fizz before I take a seat with the best view in the house.
