His fingers found her labia, exploring playfully, before opening them for his view. At one time, he was practised in the art of delighting women in the bedroom, even to the point of tedium, but in that moment, finesse was gone and in its place was raw carnality. Never had he experienced such naked trust from a woman.

A grin on his lips and fervour driving him, he lavished attention on her swollen bundle of nerves. He drew her pearl into his mouth with a tender pull and flip of his tongue, then returned his focus to the sensational cluster that he knew would delight her, and flicked it back and forth.

Juliana’s gasps and little breathy sighs filled his ears. Her hands found his hair and her hips began to rock.

Leo groaned, his neck flushing as his cock throbbed. Good God, he might very well come untouched. He’d not done that since his youth, but Juliana’s keening, clear arousal, andshite, her musky scent and taste were driving him to distraction.

He redoubled his efforts, swirling his tongue and rolling her pearl between his lips.

Her breath hitched between short gasps as she rocked faster against him.

“Leo, I—oh!”

With her back arching off the bed and her fists tightening in his hair, she shattered, crying out his name and trembling beneath him.

Leo found himself thrusting against nothing but the trousers that confined him, desperate for friction and relief.

Juliana gripped his shoulders, pulling him up and over her. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he lay atop her and groaned.

“Please…Juliana,” he grunted hoarsely.

She arched into him with a contented sigh. “You may have me however you wish.”

“Yes.” Lifting himself away from her, he flipped her onto her stomach and lifted her skirts.

With her frontpressed to the lumpy mattress, her bottom lifted high, and her toes pressing against the floor, Juliana felt rather vulnerable. But she’d had the same moment of nervousness when Leo had knelt before her, and he’d given her an abundance of pleasure, so she would trust him once more.

There was a rustle of fabric before something nudged at her entrance. Her flesh was swollen, still throbbing in time with her heart, and slick enough for him to slide in.

He groaned, pressing his lips to the back of her neck.

“My God, Juliana. You feel—” He broke off on a moan as he thrust.

And he was right; that position, thatangletouched a spot inside her that rekindled the flame of her desires. She grew hotter with each of his drives, a flush spreading over her skin and making her want to squirm.

“Leo, that’s so—” Her breath caught as he bit lightly on her ear.

“I know.”

To her surprise, her pulse sped and her muscles clenched, the heat spreading over her, tingling down her legs and out her fingertips.

“I’m going to—” she breathed bemusedly, clutching the bedclothes beneath her. “Oh, Leo, I’m going to—”

Sensation rushed through her as the paroxysm of pleasure hit, tingling throughout her body and glowing with light behind her eyelids.

“Fuck!Yes!” Leo stilled, one hand gripping her hip and the other covering hers as he bellowed his release.

They lay thusly for several long moments, breathing heavily, until Leo rolled to his back beside her with a grunt. His features were soft with gratification, yet drawn and tired. And so dearly handsome.

She reached out a hand to run her fingers through his hair once more, still unused to the short, blunt ends where he’d cut it. His jaw was defined, and bristly with his day’s growth. It was familiar and yet so foreign to her.

He turned his head toward her, his blue-grey eyes full of some unreadable emotion. Worried? Or, perhaps resigned?

“Marry me, Juliana?”

Heart hiccoughing, Juliana blinked at him.Marryhim! At one time—even mere months ago—she might have been elated at the sudden proposal, but this…thiswas not a part of her plan. Difficult as it was, however, she couldn’t deny the feelings he inspired in her. Her body veritably vibrated with awareness when he was near. She consistently had the urge to touch him, to kiss him. And, despite their quarrels, she rather liked the man.
