They chuckled together before Wes began shushing Art with a finger over his lips. “He said be quiet,” Wes insisted, playfullystern.

“I don’t know what I thought he was going to do. I guess in my head the association was that it was going to turn into aPerry Masontrial orsomething.”

As they settled, they leaned back against the side of the tub, taking a moment to enjoy the night, when another sound caught their attention, and they turned to see two figures moving toward them. The figures stopped abruptly, and Art realized who they were. “Frances?Tony?”

Frances’s mouth hung open as she stood in the nude before them beside an equally nudeTony.

“Come on in. The water’s fine,” Wes urged, and Frances and Tony leaned toward one another, chuckling.

“Keep it down!” Artinsisted.

“Sorry, sorry,” Tonysaid.

“It’s just…we’re high as a kite,” Francesadded.

“You already had some of those brownies?” Wesasked.

“I can’t believe Joe didn’t see you,” Artfollowed.

“Oh, we saw him coming, so we hid in the bushes until he left,” Tony explained with asnicker.

They eventually calmed enough to get into the tub, trying to keep quiet while finding it hilarious that they’d all had the same idea thatevening.

“Apparently Field Day makes us all a little frisky,” Wes joked as Frances wiped her eyes, which were filled with tears from laughing sohard.

“Figured I didn’t win the gold, so I could at least win tonight, you know?” Frances remarked. “We got to making some of those celebratory brownies for tomorrow, and then we got to making somethingelse.”

A question burned on Art’s mind. “Wait… Does that mean you two have been seeing eachother?”

Frances and Tony shook their heads in unison, clearly neither all that keen about thenotion.

“It’s good fun,” Frances assured them. “Like that article I told you about said, sex is a key part of our livesnow.”

“Technically, you still have a few more years, according to theGuardian,” Tony remindedher.

“Yes, we do,” Art said, appreciating his own awakening with Wes, and even how the night had turned from better to thebest.

“That said,” Frances went on, “you guys are being timed. Hope you’ve had your fun because it’s my turnnow.”

She smiled, but then made a severe face. Wes and Art enjoyed a laugh, knowing very well how serious she likelywas.

“It’s all yours,” Wes said. “I’m gonna take my guy back to the bedroom to treat him the way a man like him needs to be treated. Make theGuardianproud.”

They teased one another a little more before Wes and Art found towels near the hot tub and sneaked back out of the pool area, to Wes’s townhouse, where he made good on his promise, and where Art spent another night feeling like the luckiest man on theplanet.

Though he figured Tony might have disagreed with himthere.
