“What are we doing?”

“I assumed going for seconds.”

“Mikey, really? You don’t see anything wrong about what we did last night?”

“Is this a joke?”

“No. It’s not. Look, you were awesome and perfect and everything, but Jordan would kill me if he ever found out what happened.”

“I wasn’t going to race to the airport and shout it at him, if that’s what you’re thinking, but more because I don’t think he’d want to know about who I fuck, not because I think it’s something we need to keep from him.”

He doesn’t seem to get what I’m saying. “It was wrong and inappropriate, and we should have thought twice about that before jumping into bed together.”

He scrunches his face up. “Scott, I really had a good time last night. And I was totally aware of what I was doing, and happy as fuck that I did it because it helped me finally put something into place that I’ve always known but never really gotten to validate before.”

“Oh my God. You would be the one guy on the planet who doesn’t have any hang-ups about having his first experience with a guy. Really? Come on. You’re not a little worried about being bi?”

“This isn’t my first time knowing that, even more than it was your first time realizing you were gay before you ended up in bed with a guy.”

Very valid point.

“Come on, Scott. It wasn’t that big of a deal. It was fun.”

I’m kind of mad at how casual he can be, not just about what we did, but about sex in general. It’s like how his laid-back attitude gets on my nerves because I can never be like that. I always feel high-strung, especially right now.

“You know you liked it,” he says with a smirk. He reaches up and grips my chin between his finger and thumb. “The way those eyes rolled to the back of your head, and you opened this mouth to call out my name.”

My face flashes with heat.

“You’re blushing,” he notes before moving in for another kiss.

I pull away. “Mikey, what are you doing?”

“I think you know the answer to that.”

“But we can’t.”

He tightens his jaw, his eyes narrowing. “Why not?”

“Because I don’t want to fuck around behind your brother’s back.”

“We’re not doing anything behind his back.”

“Oh, are you going to be all kissy-face when he comes back here?”

“Not right in front of him, but I mean, if he finds out, it’s not going to be the end of the world. It’d give me a chance to tell him that I’m bi.”

How can he be so easygoing even about that?

It fucking nearly killed me to spit the words out to my father.

“Look, I just don’t want to do anything like that, and I mean, you’re only here for a few more days.”

“So? Just means more time to have fun.”

I roll my eyes.

“You’re going to think this is dumb, but I don’t do this, Mikey.”
