“I’m sorry if I sounded a littleharsh when you first got here,” he says as he rises, walks around the coffeetable, and falls onto the cushion beside me. “I mean, I’m not excited aboutthis setup, but I get why it’s important.”
The sincerity in his eyes isalarming. I know better than to believe that he’s done a complete one-eightywithin the past half an hour.
He stretches his arm out acrossthe back of the couch and turns to me, like he’s making sure I still have agood view of his physique.
My dick springs to life like itdid with Darren, and he gazes at it.
“Oh, wow,” he says. He chucklesnervously. I’ve heard this chuckle before in response to my dick’s size.
I cross my leg over the other toconceal the fucking red flag that’s screaming, “You turn me on!”
“I was wondering where you keptyour gun, but I guess I figured it out.”
“Sorry, it’s not you…” Obviouslyit is, but I get turned on by pretty much anything, so I don’t feel like it’sfair for me to be judged because he can make me hard as a rock.
“I was just expecting a handgun, not a rifle,” he says. “I guess it just makes this whole situation a lot easierfor both of us.”
“What?”
He smirks slyly and scoots towardme. “Come on. You’re a hot guy.I’minterested. And I’m obviously notjust imagining that you are too.”
“In case you’re wondering, and Ican tell you are, this is completely against policy, not to mention unethical,so you can just forget whatever you or I may be feeling.”
“Did you give a shit about policywhen you were chit-chatting with Darren?”
“You’re the guy I’ve been hired toprotect. Not Darren.”
His expression twists. “Please. Asif you’ve never violated your so-called policies to hook up with guys?”
“I’m not one to judge you for anythingyou’ve done, but I’ll just say that not everyone has your sex drive.”
“From what I can tell, you’re notimpotent.”
“That doesn’t mean I fuckeverything that moves.”
His eyes narrow. “For someone whojust said he isn’t one to judge, it sure sounds like you just called me awhore.”
I have to back out of this. “I’msorry. I didn’t mean that. I was just saying that I’m not looking foranything.”
I rise from the couch. “I shouldprobably go.”
“Go?” he asks. “Are you beingserious right now?”
“This is my job.”
His gaze is fixed on my crotch, like he’s trying to process how I could be this hard and not stick around. “Well,at least stay and finish your drink.”
“I don’t think that would be agood idea, but thank you.” I set my cocktail on the coffee table and head out.
As I walk down the hall, I’m tenseand relieved at the same time. Tense that I now recognize what could become aserious issue if Tad presses and relieved because I managed to get out of it.This time, at least. I can’t imagine it’ll always be that easy, though.
When I check my phone, I see thatDarren’s texted, but Tad’s aggressiveness convinces me that, at least for awhile, I need to remain professional and not let myself get in over my headwith these boys.
I’m just gonna head back to my roomand rub one out.
