“Stay,” I say, and he hugs me tighter.

“I’m not going anywhere.”

And they lived happily ever …

not so fast.I want an epilogue.(go to 89)

go back(go to 72)

Lucky grabs his gear, and we walk out of the club together.Sterling has his hand on my lower back, and Lucky has his arm around my shoulders.

“Um …” I don’t want to go home yet—or I want to go home, but I want them to come with me.

“My place?”Lucky asks, and bless him and his unending confidence.

“I’ll meet you.”Sterling walks over to a monster of a Ducati, retrieving a helmet and jacket before straddling it.

I didn’t think Sterling could get hotter, but apparently, he can.Leather looks good on him.More than good.

Fucking delicious.

“Damn, that’s hot.”

See?Lucky agrees.

“Always need a quick getaway, don’t you?”

Sterling gives him a reproachful look.“Are you ever going to let that go?”

“And give up my leverage?”Lucky asks, and, jeez, I can hear the glee in his voice.“When did you start riding one of these then?”

“Right after I almost died in your passenger seat.”He turns to me.“Don’t let him fool you; his road rage is legendary.”

“Wouldn’t be a problem if more people followed the road rules.”

Sterling waves a hand, as if to say,Do you see my point?“Meanwhile, the record still stands.”

“Bullshit,” Lucky counters.

“Not a single ticket.”

“Smug looks awful on you.”

Sterling’s smile deepens.“I don’t believe you.I think you love it.”

“Oh, yeah?”

Without a word, Sterling catches him with a hand on his neck, pulling him in for a rough kiss.“Yes.”

I’m close enough to catch the slide of their tongues against each other, and, fuck,we need to leave now.

“Okay, Mia,” Sterling says, pulling his helmet on, “settle this for us.Bike or cab—who are you going with?”

Both.I want both.

“Don’t make me choose.”
