The precipice was the sweetest pain I’d ever felt.
Finally, he gripped my waist and filled me up in one glorious thrust.
I screamed and he stilled. My eyes snapped open and met his.
One hand zipped up my body like lightning and he grasped the back of my neck to drag my mouth to his. I swallowed down each groan as he drove up into me again and again. My body took every punishing inch of him and the pleasure rained down on us like sparks from my stage.
He rolled us and I wrapped around him, accepting his weight and heat. The new angle added another layer of pleasure and I tried to keep the moment, but he unraveled me so completely that I could only hang on as orgasm flamed through me. Tate was with me, and I felt him jerk against me a few seconds later.
Our matching pants of breath the only sound between us now.
I wrapped my arms around his shoulders as I gasped out his name. My legs were jelly and slipped from his hips feeling like I’d just ridden a lightning rod.
He collapsed on me and the heat and weight of him left me purring like a cat.
Lips ghosted along my shoulder and neck. He tried to move off me, but I held on.
“Just another minute.”
He groaned into my neck. “I’d stay forever.”
Forever sounded far too good to me, but I hung on for just a little bit longer.
It was just the hot sex talking.
It had to be.

Death by sexwasn’t the worst way to go.
I propped myself up on my forearms. I was far too heavy for her no matter what she said.
Her face was soft and relaxed, her eyes closed.
“Hey.”
Those big gray eyes opened. “Hi.” Then her stomach roared.
I laughed. “Hope we didn’t burn all your hard work.”
She giggled. “Worth it if we did.” She reached up and pushed a hank of hair off my sweaty forehead. “You, sir, should have a warning label for that thing.”
“You seemed to handle me just fine.”
She stroked her foot down my thigh. “I certainly did. If you see me hobbling tomorrow, don’t laugh.”
“Will I see you tomorrow?”
Her hand lowered. “Well, I think we’re nearing tomorrow at this point anyway.” She looked away at my alarm clock. “Oh, man. I better text my folks so they don’t think I died.”
“Right.” I rolled off her, my body missing hers as I grabbed a tissue off my bedside table for the condom. “Do you want to take a quick shower? I can go check on the food.”
“That would be great. Can you grab my phone off the kitchen island?”
“Yeah.” I glanced back over my shoulder. Unsure what to say, I stood up and grabbed my sleep pants off a nearby chair, then stepped in them. “I’ll be right back.”
