"Shh, I'm fine, Daddy."
"Don't ever again scare me like that."
"I'll try not to."
"From now on, you're forbidden to shower alone or drive alone," I say. It's time to set my first rules, and those take the top spot for now.
"What? But-"
"No but. Sleep now. We'll talk more in the morning."
"Okay. Good night, Daddy."
"Good night, my boy."
Chapter twenty-nine
Sebastian
It has been three days since the car accident. Daddy was amazing. He didn't leave my side for even a second. Some people may describe his actions as hovering, but I freaking love it.
I'm like a sponge that can absorb his attention and never overflow.
He took showers with me, washing my body in a way that drove me crazy with need for him. He always made sure I take my prescribed meds and follow the doctor's orders. He even brought breakfast to me in bed.
It was amazing.
However, I have a big problem now.
I need to take care of the strip club owner by the end of the week, but I don't see how I'll sneak out without Daddy knowing.
I form a plan in my head. It means I'll have to break Daddy's second rule about driving alone, but I don't really have a choice.
I unlock my phone, taking advantage of being alone in the room while Daddy prepares our dinner.
Me:Fluffy, can I ask for a favor?
Fluffy:Of course.
Me:I know you hate going on field work, but I need information on someone's daily schedule and when I can kill him.
Fluffy:Straight to the point, I see. Don't worry, I'll take care of it without leaving the house.
Me:I should have known your magical fingers would take care of it from home.
Fluffy hates leaving the house. He only does when he has a job to take care of.
Fluffy:How are you doing? And how are things going with your Daddy?
Me:*swoon*it's perfect.
Me:Oh, and I'm fine. What about you?
Fluffy:You know me. As long as I have food and I'm at home, I'm happy.
Fluffy:I'll send you the information you need by the end of the day.
Me:Thank you. I'll owe you one.
