“Oh pie. There’s always room for pie,” I said and took a big bite of the coconut cream he’d given me.
“I think you said that about the two pieces of cake you had earlier,” Isaac said before taking a bite of his pie.
“Today was nice,” I said and thought back on how comfortable I felt with his family.
“Are you nuts? There were about forty people too many in the house and it didn’t help when one of the kids brought a chicken inside.”
Picturing it made me smile. “That part was awesome,” I said.
Isaac started to protest before taking another bite and chuckling. “That was pretty funny. I bet Mom locks the chickens up for Christmas.”
“We should totally get them little Christmas sweaters,” I said and Isaac’s eyes widened before his lips spread in a wide grin. I knew that grin well and took out my phone to search for Christmas sweaters for chickens.

After eating pie andplotting about Christmas, we were finally ready for bed. “I should not have had that pie,” I said as I patted my stomach.
“Like I said, there’s always room for pie,” Tig replied before walking into the bathroom. The water turned on and soon after I could hear the buzz of his toothbrush.
“I want you to fuck me so bad, but I also don’t want to move,” I admitted. I was not the type to ever turn down a good fuck, but today I’d definitely overestimated how much I could eat.
“That’s okay, you’ll feel better in the morning,” Tig said, and after pulling off his shirt kissed me.
“Are we really going to Jack’s early?”
“We’ll do what you want. What time is good?” He slid his pants down and my dick took notice.
“Let’s get up at six and we’ll get over there by seven. That should be plenty early,” I said, and hoped Jack agreed. Finicky little fucker.
“Sounds good,” Tig said and slid under the blankets.
“Fuck, okay, we’ll be there by six,” I said and set my alarm.
“I love you, baby,” Tig said and after a kiss goodnight he pulled me into his arms.
The alarm sounded and Tig jumped up out of bed and hurried into the bathroom while I lay there and hoped I could get away with thirty minutes more sleep.
“Get up, come on, let’s go,” Tig said and when I opened my eyes, he was freshly showered, fully dressed, and ready to go. “I’ll get you a coffee.” He kissed me and walked out of the room without waiting for me to answer. He knew me far too well.
After throwing myself out of bed and taking a shower, I felt more human and once I brushed my teeth and dressed I was ready to go. “That smells so good,” I said to Tig before he handed me a steaming mug of coffee.
“I got the peppermint mocha creamer,” he said, and after taking a sip I realized Tig was way more into Christmas than he admitted.
“This is really good,” I said. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Should we get going?”
“Is there a reason you’re in such a hurry?” I asked.
“Well, I thought we could buy a tree and decorate it later today,” he said over the rim of his coffee cup. Yep, he was definitely more into the holiday than he was willing to admit.
“I have the artificial one,” I said, and tried not to laugh because it was a fucking mess. The amount of plastic needles that had fallen off over the years made it look a lot more artificial and a little less like a tree.
“I know,” he muttered without making eye contact.
“Okay we’ll buy a tree. Jack will be thrilled. He was worried he’d be stuck with some, but I kept telling him it was still early.”
