She gave a small cry.
“Are you done acting defiant? Or shall I continue until you bruise?”
“I’m done!” she said.
He released her. “You are allowed to reconsider having an assessment. Would you like to leave the center?”
And go where?she almost shouted frantically. But of course it would do no good. She couldn’t confide her situation.
“I do not wish to leave. I wish to proceed,” she said stubbornly, unable to keep herself from reaching back to massage her wounded backside.
“Come,” he said, waving for her to fall in step behind him.
Just remember, she told herself silently as she watched the man’s muscled buttocks and thick thighs flex as he walked,you could’ve been married to a man built like this and even less civilized. Refuge in this center is necessary and most important temporary.
Chapter Three
Brande almost losther nerve when she realized that the handsome physician with sandy hair couldn’t be more than ten years older than herself. Somehow it made it harder that he was near her own age and could command her to remove her shift and hang it on a hook.
Master A gave her a stern look when she hesitated, and she had no doubt he would bend her over the exam table for more rough discipline if she didn’t do as she was told. She stared at the wall, not cowering, but her fingers trembled as she lifted the fabric, unveiling her slim body.
The doctor’s gaze raked over her. “Lovely proportions.” He walked around her slowly. “Pink-assed, but not red. Naughty, not trained.”
“Right,” A said.
“The pussy’s smooth. Hair freshly removed?”
“Not by us.”
Brande bit the inside of her cheek, humiliated to hear herself discussed in such a way. She was glad however that she’d thought to have her lower hair removed. It was a reddish color that would not match the current color of her hair and brows.
“Up here, girl,” the doctor said.
She swallowed and climbed onto the padded table, putting her long legs over the cushioned leg rests. She lay back, feeling even more vulnerable than she had when bent over the table earlier.
The physician took each arm and restrained it above her head to the corner of the table.
