“Yes!” Zach’s attention was riveted as he watched Asher come undone. He continued to stroke Asher through his release, wanting to wring every bit of pleasure he possibly could from Asher’s body, to give Asher a taste of the pleasure Asher always gave him.

Asher shuddered in the aftermath, the movement of his hips slowing as the pleasure ebbed away. He gazed up at Zach with half-lidded eyes, a sated smile curving his lips.

“That was good,” he purred, pressing his heels against the small of Zach’s back. “But it’s your turn now. I want to feel you come in me. I want to give you pleasure too.”

“You do. God, do you ever,” Zach said hoarsely. He released Asher’s wrists and grasped Asher’s hips as he started to move again. “So good,” he moaned, as his desire mounted swiftly and powerfully. Asher was all he wanted, all he needed, and with a cry, he buried himself deeply one last time as pleasure burst over him in an irresistible wave.

Slowly Zach came back to himself. He didn’t want to lose the connection to Asher, not yet, and with a sigh, he lowered himself onto Asher’s body, pressing a gentle, almost reverent kiss to Asher’s lips. Asher smoothed his palms up and down the length of Zach’s back in a leisurely caress as he returned the kiss.

After several moments, Zach pulled back to deal with the condom before taking more tissues from the box on the nightstand. He passed a few to Asher, and once they’d cleaned up, he snuggled close, throwing his arm across Asher’s waist and entangling their legs.

“That was unbelievable,” he murmured, his lips against the warm, damp skin of Asher’s throat.

“Mm… yes, it was.” Asher wound his arms around Zach and held him close. He was silent for a moment, and then he said quietly, “In the interest of full disclosure, that was the first time I’ve bottomed. For anyone.”

“What?” Zach’s voice was strangled as he lifted his head and stared at Asher, unable to believe what he was hearing. “But… I mean….” He tried to find the words to express his shock and confusion, and yet there was an undeniable sense of possessiveness as well, of smug complacency that Asher had shared this only with him. He swallowed hard, bit down on the obvious question that rose to his lips, and instead settled for leaning in to kiss Asher tenderly. “Thank you. I am honored.”

“No need to thank me.” Asher tightened his arms around Zach, giving him a reassuring smile. “I wanted to do this.”

Zach wanted to ask why, but he didn’t; he hoped it meant he was special to Asher, but he didn’t want to draw too much attention to the gesture, in case Asher started to feel pressured. Although he’d seen little evidence of Asher’s commitment issues, he didn’t want to do anything that might bring them up, especially now.

“I hope I made the experience memorable—in a good way,” he said softly, running his hand over Asher’s chest, stroking him gently. “I remember you asking me if it was my first time when I showed up with those documents. I thought you believed I was a virgin.”

“I thought it was your first time as an escort, not the first time you’d had sex,” Asher said, laughing quietly. “You were so earnest and responsive, totally unlike the escorts I was used to.” He pressed a kiss to Zach’s forehead. “I think the walls started coming down right then.”

Zach sighed softly and closed his eyes. “It occurred to me tonight at the party that you mistaking me for an escort was probably the luckiest thing that ever happened to me. Otherwise you might never have let me close to you.”

“You’re right, I wouldn’t have.” Asher tightened his arms around Zach. “I was afraid of letting people get close. I didn’t want to be like my father, and it was easier and safer to focus on work and keep people at arm’s length. But I felt a connection with you on that first night, and you showed me what I’ve been missing.”

“Dare I hope you don’t regret it?” Zach asked quietly. “Because I want to make you happy. You deserve to be happy.”

“It’s been scary at times,” Asher admitted. “But change always is. I don’t regret it, though. I’ve been happier this past month with you than I can remember ever being before.”

“Good.” Zach said the word fervently, and he held Asher close, wanting to enjoy this time together while he could. “I feel the same way.”

“I’m glad. I feel out of my depth with this whole relationship thing, so I’m glad to know I haven’t messed up too badly.”

“You haven’t messed up at all!” Zach chuckled. “If you treated me any better, I’d be nominating you for sainthood.” He didn’t want to leave, but he knew he’d better force himself to get up and go back to his own place. “It’s getting late. I should go home.”

But Asher pulled Zach closer and refused to let him go. “I have extra toothbrushes in the guest bathroom,” he said, a hesitant note in his voice.

Zach went still; Asher had never asked him to stay before, and he sensed this was another important step in their relationship. Of course he didn’t want to go anyway, but he decided not to ask Asher if he was sure. He didn’t want to give Asher a chance to have second thoughts.

“Sounds good to me,” he replied, rubbing his cheek against Asher’s shoulder. “I hope you don’t snore.”

“I guess you’ll have to find out,” Asher said, amusement lacing his voice. “I hope you don’t kick or steal the covers.”

“Not that I know of,” Zach said, smiling in relief that Asher understood he was joking. “But if I do, I’ll make it up to you somehow. Back rubs, perhaps?”

“That sounds like a fair trade.” Asher settled in with a contented sigh. “Sleep now, and in the morning, we can share the shower, and I’ll make breakfast.”

“I like the sound of that.” Zach reached out to switch off the lamp, then pulled the covers up, yawning widely. “Sweet dreams, Asher.”

“Good night, Zach. Sleep well,” Asher murmured.

“I will.” Zach closed his eyes and let himself drift off, but no dream could ever be as wonderful as the reality of sleeping in Asher’s arms.
