I walk over to her, wrapping my arms around her, and run my lips up her neck, inhaling her delicious scent.

“Ace, you’re so sweet. You’re super hot,” Karla says, laughing.

“Get dressed so we can get some food,” I say, smiling. “How about we take a trip to explore the Old Sacramento downtown area,” I ask, running my fingers through her wet locks.

“Oh yes, that sounds like fun,” Karla says, nodding. “Let me get dressed.”

“Ace, I’ve always wanted to explore the historic downtown Sacramento. The Gold Rush era buildings and wood planks are so cool,” Karla says, looking around with shining eyes.

This girl makes me so damn happy.

“Yeah, I never explored historic downtown, so it’s my first. It’s cool imagining how the people lived, and to think that they were searching for gold, and trying to survive,” I say, looking around at the buildings.

“Ace, let’s eat at the Mexican restaurant,” Karla says, looking across the street.

“Yes, let’s go eat,” I say, pulling her close. I wrap my arm around her waist, and we cross the street.

We walk into the restaurant, and the host seats us at the corner table. I pull out her chair, and she slides into it. I then take the seat next to her.

“My name is Pedro. Would you like me to bring you something to drink?” Pedro says, smiling.

“Si, I want a cold Corona,” Karla says, smiling.

“And you, sir,” Pedro asks.

“I’ll have the same,” I say, nodding.

“I’ll bring you your drinks,” Pedro says.

We grab the menu, and everything looks good, but I’m going to get the same as Karla.

“Angel, do you know what you want to eat,” I ask, setting the menu on the table.

“Yes, I would like a fajita plate,” Karla says, looking at me.

“That sounds good, I’ll have the same,” I say, resting my arms on the table.

Pedro returns with the beer, and I take a pull, looking at Karla.

“Would you like me to take your order,” Pedro asks, smiling.

“Yes, we would like two plates of fajitas with the two different meats,” Karla says.

“Which two meats would you like,” Pedro asks.

“Steak and shrimp,” Karla says, smiling.

I look at Ace, and he nods.

“Perfect,” Pedro says.

“Would you like me to get you some tequila? It’s your favorite,” I say, taking my hand.

“Ace, I would love tequila, but a little later,” Karla says.

“I think that’s a great idea,” I say, kissing her wrist.

Karla leans into my side and looks up, smiling.
