“Papa, I’m going to be okay. I’m going with Autumn to her party,” I say, crossing my arms.

“All right, go, “GO” before I change my mind! I don’t want to see you,” Papa yells, pointing his finger.

“Papa, thank you,” I say.

I walk out of his office before he changes his mind. I pull out my cell phone and text Autumn.

Karla ~ I’m ready.

Autumn ~ On my way.

I walk down the long hallways to my room, which is located at the other side of the house. I’m glad that it’s far away from his office, because I hate his Soldiers looking at me.

I walk into my room, closing and locking the door. I look to see what still needs to go into the backpack. I add a few more pieces of clothing, just in case, and some money. I have more money than I need, but Mom always told me to be prepared to run.

I can’t stand Papa. I need to leave this damn house. Yeah, it’s going to be hard, but I’ll make it. Papa is in the Cartel, one of the many Capos, but just as powerful. That makes me the Princess, but I don’t like it.

I can’t stand the fuckers, Soldiers, looking at me, and I don’t want them to try to make me a Cartel doll, that means whore. Papa doesn’t seem to care, and that is what makes me want to disappear before they try to take me.

I know that it’s possible, because Papa killed Mom in front of me when she tried to protect me from the damn Cartel parties when I was fifteen. An important age in Mexican culture. It’s supposed to be a rite of passage of sorts, when a young girl is transcending into a woman. In the traditional sense, it was a sign that the girl was ready for marriage. Fuck, in the present, it still means that, but only the fucking Cartel honors it. I’m lucky that Papa hasn’t sold me, well, not yet.

My skin crawls when they look at me, and my stomach is in knots when I’m forced to attend the parties. I’m just lucky that I’ve escaped their clutches, but for how long?

I’m wearing a red halter top dress, high chunky heels, and a coat. The coat covers me up, and I walk down the hall and out the door. I walk down the drive, pass some guards who stare at me, and wait for Autumn.

“Oh my god,” I say, getting into the car. “I was starting to worry.”

Autumn laughs, looks at me.

“I’m sorry, I’m a little late. I’m so excited! Poison’s and Candy’s brothers were at the clubhouse. I met Fiend and Killer. We’re going to meet up at the Hells Cave Bar,” Autumn says, driving down the drive.

“Oh my, are you serious?” I ask, wide-eyed.

“Yeah, so we need to hurry,” Autumn says.

“Okay! I love it,” I say, nodding.

A few minutes later, Autumn pulls into the Hell’s Cave Bar parking lot and parks close to the bikes.

“I’m so excited,” I squeal, pulling down the visor to look into the vanity mirror.

“Karla, Fiend is absolutely gorgeous, walking sex and badass biker,” Autumn says, applying red lipstick on her lips.

I look around to make sure that I wasn’t followed.

We enter the bar, and Autumn walks over to the bikers at the table.

“What about the other biker, Killer,” I ask, looking at her.

“Karla, he’s hot. But I’m going to warn you. These bikers are out to have fun, so if you fuck around with him, don’t expect anything because the bikers do not do relationships. So, if you do it’s on your own peril,” Autumn says, raising her brow.

“Fuck! I really want a biker,” I say, rolling my eyes.

“Karla, enjoy Killer, have fun. Let it evolve, sometimes the fuckers do fall, and when they do, they fall hard,” Autumn says, nodding.

“Awesome! But you’re right. What if I don’t like him,” I say.

“No worries. No problem because I know that the bar will have plenty more bikers for you to meet. I know that they would love to meet you. But be careful because I don’t want you to get hurt. These bikers are players, because they get pussy any time they want,” Autumn huffs, rolling her eyes.
