Kaiya cried with ecstasy when he slid into her from behind. He went slowly into her at first, and then the pressure increased as he thrust in and out of her, fast and hard.
Her legs began to wobble from the intensity of his thrusts. Tyler changed positions and brought her down to her knees, thrusting in and out of her.
Kaiya cried out in mindless passion as convulsions took over her body, and she found her release. Tyler came with her, and together, they crumbled on the floor of the cubicle.
“With you, it gets better every time,” he murmured into her ears, making her blush.
After they caught their breaths, they rose to take a shower, which ended in another bout of lovemaking before they actually took a shower. Tyler toweled Kaiya dry and took her to the bedroom where they made love all night long.
As they did the other night, they rose early to avoid questions from the children. Tyler thought it was best if he showered alone, so nothing would delay him from leaving her room. Giggling, she nodded.
Tyler came out of her bathroom some minutes later with a towel barely covering his torso, leaving his muscular chest and six-packs stomach bare for her to ogle. Kaiya couldn’t believe that after making love with him all night, the mere sight of his half-naked body was making her mouth run dry and her vagina to grow moist. Embarrassed that she couldn’t get enough of him, she rushed out of the room to the bathroom to turn the shower into a cold blast to cool her heated body.
When she came out of the bathroom a short while later, it was to see Tyler standing beside one of her drawers gawking at his grandmother’s necklace he had given her so long ago.
Her face reddened when he lifted his head to regard her with a questioning gaze.
“I didn’t mean to snoop. I was looking for a comb.”
She nodded, wishing the ground would open up and swallow her.
“I can’t believe this. You kept it?”
She shrugged, trying to make light of it. “It was too beautiful for me to throw it out. I just couldn’t do it. Besides, I didn’t think I had the right to throw it out since you said it was your grandmother’s and…and…” She bit her lip and stared down at her bare feet. “It was the only thing I thought I had left of you...”
With an intense emotion that she couldn’t read, Tyler hurried to her and placed the necklace around her neck. He gave her a kiss that made them forget that he had to leave her bedroom without delay. Fortunately for them, the children were still asleep when they were finally able to drag themselves away from her bed. They giggled like lovesick teenagers at their naughtiness as they made breakfast.

Things went smoothly between Tyler, Kaiya, and Lili in the days that followed. They saw each other often between the days they shared with Lili; they shared kisses and made love whenever they could. Neither spoke of the direction in which their relationship would lead.
Tyler realized that he was falling in love with his ex again, and this time around, it was even more intense. He yearned to be with her every minute of the day. Even as he continued to work on the two sites he was developing, which was coming along nicely, he couldn’t get her off his mind. He desired to start anew with Kaiya if she would let him.
Tonight, she was bringing Lili over after her dance class. They had created a routine where Tyler dropped his daughter off at school, his mom would then pick her up from school, and drop her over at Kaiya’s dance studio. When Kaiya was done for the day, she would then bring Lili home. Although she had balked at it at first, Kaiya had accepted the house keys he gave to her. She could let herself into the house with Lili. These days, she spent most nights at his home. This made him incredibly happy; happiest he’d been in years.
Tyler decided he couldn’t wait to spend some time with the two most important females in his life. He closed from work early and went to pick them from the dance school. They decided they wanted Chinese take-out, so he stopped at a Chinese restaurant and ordered some.
Kaiya and Lili sang Disney princesses’ songs on their way home. Tyler smiled all through and begged to be taught.
Lili giggled. “You’re gonna have to pay for it, Dad.”
Tyler threw up his hand in mock exasperation. “Oh, come on. Help me out here, Kai.”
Shrugging, Kaiya said, “I’m sorry; I support my daughter.”
Tyler watched with amusement as mother and daughter did a fist bump and spread their hands out in the air, making whooshing sounds.
A small trickle of jealousy went through him at the obvious bonding between the two females. He had been in Lili’s life all of eight years, and they didn’t have a special handshake.
He killed the feeling instantly, ashamed that it went through him. Kaiya had lost eight years of her daughter’s life. The poor woman was making up for it the best way she could.
It upset him a little that Lili had still not started calling her ‘Mommy.’ Kaiya was still ‘Miss Kaiya’ to her. He knew it hurt Kaiya a lot, but when he voiced his concerns, she had shrugged it off and told him to give their little girl some time to adjust, and it would come naturally to her. She forbade him from having a discussion with Lili about it.
“I see you two have ganged up against me, but I’m gonna have my revenge soon!” He let out a burst of wicked ominous laughter that had both females giggling. Powerful love for both of them flowed within him.
After they had dinner, they played a game of checkers with Lili, and then it was time for her to go to bed. Kaiya bathed her and told her a bedtime story.
“Goodnight, Daddy. I love you,” Lili characteristically said as she did every night.
