She looked a lot like Diamond. Her body had been modified though, fake breast, fake ass. The bikini she had on had barely been able to contain her goods.

“Well…I’m down for that too,” she’d told me.

“Just dance,” I’d replied.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I heard Enzo mutter something. Apparently, Trey was upset with him because he hadn’t even bothered to go home. He’d spent the night on the living room sofa, passed out.

“What’d you say?”

“They’re here...”

Before we knew it everyone was boarding and taking seats. I’d had the nanny set up and placed away from us with the kids but not too far away. This was truly a family vacation all for Enzo and his birthday. I watched him stand to go over to his wife and she was frowning, clearly pissed but I saw her eyes soften. A smile bloomed on her face, and he leaned down to kiss her. Obviously, I was envious as I turned my head, I caught sight of Diamond who hadn’t spoken when everyone else had. Her head was buried in her phone, and she had Air pods in her ears. The nanny came by and spoke to me and then went to Diamond who got up to follow her. Wondering if something was wrong, I followed behind them.

When she saw that I was behind her she took out an Air pod, “Yes?”

“Tesoro, is something to matter with Tiberius?”

She huffed, “The concerned father act?”

“I am concerned, Tesoro,” I went to reach for her arm, but she ripped away from me.

She kept on going until she had reached the baby. Her and the nanny talked for a few moments and then she came back to head to her seat, but I blocked her entrance. I heard the curtains give a jingle and Diamond’s eyes narrowed.

“Wow, you’re still employed here?”

Without even turning, I knew that it was Nancy, the flight attendant. Squeezing my eyes shut, I could feel the tension beginning to bunch up in my shoulders. Not to mention that images of the strippr dancing and finally dropping into split were playing behind my eyes. She had made me realize that I needed some pussy but not hers.

“Tesoro, please keep your voice down. Yes, Nancy is still an employee.”

Diamond huffed and side stepped both of us. “Whatever.”

Taking a few deep breaths, I turned to the stewardess who looked frozen with fear. “Champagne for everyone, immediately. Whiskey for me.”

My nerves didn’t calm until we were an hour into the air. There was still some tension within the plane. Turbulence was hitting and Carmen got airsick. I watched her husband soothe her. I hadn’t talked to him very much, but he seemed like a patient man. He had kind eyes, something I did not often seen in other men considering my line of work.

Trey and Enzo had put on eye masks and relaxed into leather seats of the jet. While my wife…. she wasn’t looking at me to save her life. The white clouds outside the window with their fluffy shapes seemed to keep her occupied.

Jealousy cut through me like a hot knife licking butter.

I was jealous of goddamn clouds for having her attention. Nancy had delivered the whiskey and I’d wanted to ask for the bottle. Deciding against it, I swallowed what was left in crystal glass and stood up and went over to my darling wife.

Quietly I spoke. “Tesoro, come with me?”

Paul and Carmen turned to look at us but otherwise said nothing. Diamond turned her gaze away from the window and starred up at me. I must have looked like a menacing giant to her but I didn’t care.

I watched her take her manicured fingers and once again remove one of the Air pods from her ear. She feigned annoyance. “What?”

God her tongue was wounding me. It was also going to be the thing to soothe me.

“Come with me,” I held out my hand.

She looked at my outstretched limb and scoffed. “Fuck off.”

That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Getting down, on one knee until we were staring at each other, eye level I took a deep breath. “Tesoro…get the fuck up and head to the back of this jet.”

“I’ll cause a scene,” she replied.

“Diamond, this is it. Your very last chance,” I told her.
