Dylan snorted, “Which drill? I make you do so many. You are my wind-up toys after all.” Eric replied, “The one that had my mother yelling for weeks.” Dylan sighed, “You’re not giving me a lot to work with here. Mommy Queenie Meanie is practically Gryla the Christmas Witch. She yelled about all of them for weeks. So, that was not a helpful description.”

Eric groaned, grabbed Dylan, and whispered in his ear. Dylan gasped, “You want to run that?” Eric answered, “Yes, because nothing is happening to the presents in that house or in this pack. The pups will be sad, and we can’t have that. We are running the fucking drill.”

Dylan squealed, “OMG! I knew you liked that drill. Don’t even say you don’t because you remember it after all these years. This is truly a special moment for me. I might cry or pee a little. This is SO much better than I ever imagined. I mean the snowman people were next level. Right?”

Eric stared at him. Dylan said, “I hear you loud and clear. We need evil reindeer next year too. I want the abominable snowman as well. I have such thoughts on ways to top this year.” Eric groaned, “For god’s sake.”

I snickered watching up in the sleigh. I linked Lucas, “What drill is Eric talking about?” Lucas snorted, “I’m not telling you.” I asked, “Why not?” Lucas retorted, “You knew about this whole saving Christmas from Krampus deal.”

I huffed, “Oh, come on! You’re having fun.” Lucas agreed, “I am, but I’m still not telling you. I will say every Alpha that was afuture Alpha at the time knows the drill. Dylan even made Chase do this as a toddler with Sophia.” What?

I linked my dad, “Do you have any idea what’s going on?” Dad answered, “I’m fighting a Troll and snowman with your mother. In other words, I’m a little busy.” I chuckled, “I see that on my screen. I meant about the drill Eric wants to run.”

Dad carefully asked, “Sweetie, have you met your mate?” Kiara huffed. I answered, “Of course I have.” Dad reasoned, “Then you know the number of drills he convinced people to do, or sprung on them, therefore requiring them to participate is not low. If you think Dylan does it a lot now, then when he only had school in his way he did more often.”

I admitted, “I remember that I just didn’t know what it was.” Dad laughed, “I mean honestly there could be so many. I don’t know how everyone seems to know exactly what it was, but those boys clearly do. Even Sophia knows, but she hung out with Chase. So, of course she’d know. They did so many though and I am not close enough to Eric to hear what was whispered. It can’t be the zombie one, they already did that.”

I snorted, “Which you are all welcome for.” Dad laughed, “That was a good one. This is actually pretty fun.” I rubbed my belly agreeing, “Right? Lucas won’t tell me about the drill because I didn’t tell him about saving Christmas.”

Dad laughed, “You know us Alphas like to be in the know. It’s why Dylan told you about the twist. He’s fully aware of that fact.” Ok, well it was a secret and Lucas was being ridiculous. I watched as the Alpha’s began to herd Krampus.

Sophia and Chase were on the side closest to the Conners house that had him backing up. I told Hank, “This Krampus is super creepy. His Santa suit looks like it’s dripping blood, where it’s red and his beard is long like Santa’s. His horns are so long that they are curling around. His toy bag looks like it has people in it and he’s carrying an axe. Oh my god, his eyes are red.”

I chuckled, “All the decorations are weapons though, and the Hackura figured that out. You’ll learn that’s not surprising at all. Also, they somehow know the plan because they are joining it. I’d say Eric could’ve linked the ones that joined that pack, but Hastein hasn’t. He’s out there doing the plan he shouldn’t know about. They are a little scary with their all-knowing ways.”

“It’s a good thing though, because they are on our side. Always remember that, Hank. Which won’t be hard since Daddy is very good friends with Logan’s family. Katie is super cool and we are friends. She’s our Luna’s sister and Logan’s mate.” Hank kicked my hand that I’d rested on my stomach.

I admitted, “I lost sight of your dad.” I linked Dylan, “Where are you?” Dylan answered, “Didn’t you hear SGAP? I’m running my drill.” I answered, “Yes, but from where?” Dylan laughed, “It’s one of best drills, if I’m being honest.” I sighed, “Are you evading?” Dylan laughed in reply.

Eric engaged Krampus and I easily realized the Conners and my brother were the distractions. Dad even jumped in with Nathan. Danver and Kris joined the fight as well. Then I spotted my husband with a candy cane type weapon. What the hell was that thing? It had a long pole with a curbed side to it.

Dylan had scaled the house near where all the other Alphas had herded Krampus. The Betas had joined them with the Gammas navigating Krampus close to Dylan. Holy crap! This could not be the plan. I linked my mate, “ARE YOU JUMPING OFF THE HOUSE?!” Kiara growled, “I don’t like this plan.”

Dylan replied, “It’s so much better this time with Fairies and their wind calls. They also have wings. This is the best.” My heartrate did not agree. Eric yelled, “NOW!” Dylan took a running leap and raised his weapon in the air, yelling, “THIS IS FOR CHRISTMAS! AHHHHHH!”

Krampus turned and Dominic ripped into his arm while Eric launched at Krampus’s other arm. Chase and Sophia had hislegs. Dylan screamed out a war cry, he learned from Logan, and cut off Krampus’s head. I braced myself for my husband to hit the ground entirely too fast.

Thankfully, Aiden flew to him and grabbed him, before landing safely back on the ground. Dylan cooed, “That’s so much better than my cool army roll that on several test runs dislocated my shoulder.” Aiden replied, “That is what my brother in law indicated when he threatened my life to urge me to catch you.”

Dylan gasped, “You’re threatening people for me again? Awwww, shucks SGAP.” Eric rolled his eyes but said nothing. Dylan shouted, “CHRISTMAS IS SAVED! DYLANMAS WAS EPIC THIS YEAR! DRINKS FOR ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!”

A Christmas mocktail appeared beside me and my sleigh lowered to the ground. Dylan ran over to me and laid a hell of a kiss on me. I cupped his face, “I love you. You’re my Christmas hero, Dylan Frost. This was amazing and everyone had fun.”

Dylan replied, “As I love you, Lacy Frost. I have saved Christmas. That’s a lifelong dream of mine, you know? Who would’ve thought SGAP would’ve given me the glory there.” I linked, “You knew Eric would do that for you.” Dylan winked at me.

I smiled at my husband, while everyone laughed as happy sounds filled the air. I linked Dylan, “I can’t believe you haven’t done your victory howl yet.” Dylan gasped, threw his head back, then howled into the night with joy. Every single wolf joined him with the Hackura and Fairies.

I looked at my mate; proud he’d thrown his party and made everyone this happy. I said, “Merry Christmas, Dylan.” It was officially past midnight. Dylan nuzzled me, “Merry Christmas, Lacy Frost.” I smirked, because that reminded me the Goblins were still living their Frost filled Christmas. Now that was certainly a reason to celebrate.

Epilogue

Dylan was cooing at his newborn son. I greeted, “Hello little Hank Benjamin Frost.” Lacy chuckled, “After two men who love your daddy. Hank saved his life, and Ben McAlister is your daddy’s mentor.” I told my son, “His name is Benjamin, but he goes by Ben. He even had his name officially changed, but I have his original birth certificate.”

Lacy laughed, “Of course you do.” Haley popped into the room. I greeted, “You are right on time, super special fun sized Fairy Ninja Goddess.” Lacy gasped, “Dylan! I do not need to be healed on Christmas. This could’ve waited until tomorrow.”

I pleaded dramatically, “Haley, save Lacy. My mate is talking crazy.” I told Hank, “Mommy says crazy things sometimes, but that’s ok because we love her.” Lacy sighed, “You pulled Haley away from her family on Christmas.” Haley snorted, “Exfuckingcuse me, but I popped in here of my own free fucking will.” I agreed, “Yeah, I didn’t pull her or anything.”

Haley agreed, “Since you can’t do that and none of my brothers are here, that is very true.” I grinned at Lacy, loving the very literal Fairy. I told Lacy, “Plus, you have to be there for Hank’s big first Christmas / Birthday party. He has presents his siblings will open and show him.”
