“I called my one sister. She’s rallying the other sisters to help you through this. Let’s go back to my place, and regroup with family, and then, we’ll discuss the whole ghost thing,” he said, knowing she’d need a distraction later.
Gabby sniffled.
“And you still love me?”
He kissed her on the tip of her nose.
“I love you even more now because we have another adventure to partake in. You’re my partner and my other half. I’ll never stop loving you.”
And she needed to hear that.
Gabby only hoped their path would have babies on it. She prayed it did every day.
She knew one thing though, and it was an important thing. Finn was a good man, and with him by her side, they’d make it.
Their adventure was only beginning.
And one day, she’d get what she wanted.
To be a mom.
Chapter Sixteen
Ravensmire
Same Time
Post-Wedding
When everyone else had gone, Graham and Michael walked hand-in-hand into the castle as man and man. They’d weathered the storm for seven and a half years, and now, each of them had gotten what they’d wanted most.
Love.
Each other.
This was the beginning of a new adventure for them, and neither man could wait for it.
A lot had happened in the time they’d been a couple, but still, it felt like minutes had passed, not years.
That’s how they both knew.
This was right.
In the kitchen, Michael was whistling a happy little tune as he prepped for what would be coming.
They were going to kick off their honeymoon.
Honestly, had anyone told him that he’d be doing it with this particular man in a haunted castle…
He’d think they’d lost their damn minds.
But here he was.
Ready to be a husband.
In fact, there was nothing he wanted more than this right here. There was something amazing about how he felt. It was like being free and also finding an amazing treasure that he didn’t have to share.
Going to the wine chiller, he reached in, and pulled out a bottle of champagne, put it on the counter, and then headed to the refrigerator.
