The three of us take the truck to town. Viper hops in the driver’s seat, I get into the passenger seat, and Rage gets in the back. At the store, Rage grabs a cart, and we walk through the aisles. In the walk-in cooler, I shiver as the air bites my skin, and I break out in goosebumps. Rage and Viper grab cases of beer and place them in the cart. Next, we shop for spirits. There’s so many to choose from. I pull out a bottle of peach schnapps and a bottle of apple vodka for Jolly Rancher shots, and standard vodka and triple sec for kamikaze shots. I pause, thinking about what cocktails the girls will like.

“I thought you weren’t staying tonight?” Rage asks and laughs.

I slowly turn my head to him. “I want to make sure there’s plenty available so that when I want to make drinks, all the ingredients are there.”

“Cocktails, cocktails…” I mutter to myself. Hmm… piña coladas and cosmos. I grab a bottle of Cointreau and put it into the cart. “What else do we need?” I ask Viper and Rage.

“Whiskey and wine,” Rage replies.

After getting the remaining cocktail ingredients, we pay and walk outside to the truck, where Viper and Rage place the drinks in the back.

An odd shudder travels down my spine. I sense someone watching me. I survey the parking lot, but I can’t see anyone watching me. I could be paranoid… or it could be one of Dad’s employees keeping tabs on me.

The back door shuts, making me jump. “Are you all right?” Viper asks.

I give him a tight smile. “I’m fine, let’s go back to the clubhouse.”

As we pull out and accelerate slowly, we pass groups of people smoking. One looks like Candy. I turn to look over my shoulder, but her back is to us. The resemblance is uncanny.

My phone rings. When I look at the screen, it’s a number I don’t recognize.

“Hello, Sophie speaking.”

“Hi, it’s Gina. I just got picked up in a luxurious limousine and I’m on my way.”

Giddy excitement bubbles up inside me. “That’s fabulous.” I beam. “Enjoy the free wine and food.”

She squeals. “I will. I think it’s going to take a couple of hours to get there.”

I look at Viper, who’s glancing at me every few moments. He leans over as if trying to listen to our conversation.

“Well… you rest up. You’re going to have a night full of activity.”

“Is he ready for me?” she asks in a low voice.

I hold back a laugh and stare at Viper as I say, “Oh… he’s ready for you.”

Viper’s eyes light up, and I take deep breaths as I try my best to maintain my composure.

That night after dinner, I encourage the men to have a few beers while they wait for the show. Ava, Elena, and I rearrange the living area. I drag over some chairs from the dining room and arrange them in a circle for the men, with one chair in the center for Viper.

Axle is leaning against the wall, watching us. “Since we already know it’s a stripper, are we getting A-plus top-notch material or B-grade inexperienced?”

“A-plus grade,” I reply, while Elena snorts.

Axle’s smile grows wider. “You’re such a cool chick.” Then he looks at Elena. “And thanks again, babe.”

“No trouble at all,” Elena answers.

His face falls. “Are you sure it’s okay? Is this the type of thing where you’re saying you’re okay, but once it’s over you’re going to be pissed at me… Or is it a challenge? Have I failed?”

She shrugs nonchalantly, but the corner of her mouth twitches. “Not at all. I just want Viper to have a good night.”

After everything is set up, I set the mood and put on some sensual music. There’s a happy vibe among the crowd. All the couples are at the bar having a drink while others are talking amongst themselves. I bite back a laugh at the broad smiles on Axle’s, Twitch’s, and Rage’s faces. They are going to be pleasantly surprised at what I have in store for them.

“Oh,” I turn to Viper. “I need to blindfold you for the surprise. What can I use?”

“I have my bandana for the Harley upstairs. It’s in the bedside table’s drawer.”
