Giiirl.

Right. So not the time. Not when Cooper DeLaurentis is staring at me like I’m a goddamn snack.

He pulls me in close, leaving a sliver of space between our bodies. The DJ drops an upbeat pop song, and he wastes no time synching up with the music, body moving with smooth precision.

The boy has moves.

Of course Coop has moves. Moves half the women on campus would give their left ovary to experience. Is this what it feels like to be lucky?

If lucky is synonymous with stiff as a corpse, then yeah.

“Relax.” Coop closes a strong, possessive hand over the curve of my hip. “I won’t bite.”

Unless you want me to.

The words are unspoken, but they’re definitely implied.

A ripple of desire spreads from my belly, heating my flesh. The prospect of Cooper DeLaurentis nibbling on my body doesn’t sound half bad. Actually, it sounds pretty freaking good right now.

Nopenopenope.

No catching feelings for the campus flirt. He has a type, and I’m not it.

Still, it’s not like I have any other prospects and with the warm buzz of the AMF humming through my veins—who knew five kinds of alcohol could be so delicious?—dancing might even be fun.

I close my eyes and soak in the music's vibe. It’s a steady beat even I can’t screw up, so I give myself over to the moment, moving my hips slowly as I kiss my inhibitions goodbye.

Adiós, indeed.

When I open my eyes, Coop’s watching me again, and damn if I don’t want to know what’s on his mind. In the dim light, his irises appear midnight blue, but it doesn’t make them any less stunning.

A girl could get lost in eyes like those.

“You still with me?” he asks.

“Yup.”Just drowning in the deep blue sea.

Look at me getting all poetic and stuff.

The corner of his mouth twitches, and panic briefly pierces my alcohol induced buzz.Fuckballs. Did I say that out loud?

Whatever. It’s not like Coop and I have a future. Who cares if he thinks I’m wackadoodle?

I spin out of his grip and throw my hands up, shaking my ass because why the hell not? It’s Saturday night, I’m dancing with one of the hottest guys on campus, and I feel amazing.

Sexy even.

Coop slides up behind me, easily matching my rhythm.

Feeling bold, I roll my hips, brushing my ass against his hardness. A low groan slips from his throat and satisfaction blooms deep in my chest as he tugs me up against him, fitting my body to his and keeping one possessive hand fixed on my hip. His rock-hard abs press against my back andholy hotness Batman.

Those babies must be made of steel.

Fire lances through my veins, my skin hot and tight as perspiration beads along my hairline. I sweep my hair over my shoulder and sigh as the cool air kisses the back of my neck.

The relief is short lived.

Coop leans in close, the heat of his body warming every inch of my exposed flesh. A shiver races up my spine, half longing and half pleasure.
