I didn't care if it was foolish of me to be kissing him again. My body wanted this.Iwanted this. Yes, I might regret it later, but I couldn't bring myself to care about that. With the feel of his lips, the sensation of his greedy hands, and the ecstasy of his body against mine, there was no room left for any rational thoughts. Not that I was complaining. Rational thoughts could be overrated.
But kissing Rush? That was definitely not overrated. It was everything I remembered it being, and I wasn't about to stop.

Rush
I. Was. Kissing. Scarlet.
I couldn't think of anything else. I didn't want to think of anything else. I'd dreamed of kissing her again so many times, and now I was actually doing it. And it was a thousand times better than any of my fantasies.
I grasped her hips, a thin strap the only thing between my hands and her skin. Touching her bare skin was making my nerve endings want to explode. It all felt too much, but in the most pleasurable way.
When she'd taken off her towel and I'd seen her for the first time in a bikini, it had felt like my eyes had bugged out of my head. I'd never seen anything more beautiful, more sexy.
I hadn't been one of the guys to call out anything to her, but I'd been grateful to be under the cover of water. The triangle shaped fabric wasn't big enough to cover her full breasts, and the way her slim waist flowed to her curvy hips was more than I could handle, apparently.
I shouldn't have been kissing her. It wasn't smart for two obvious reasons. One, my future was on the line. And two, I didn't want to hurt her again. I needed to stop, but I'd lost all control as soon as our lips touched. I'd probably lost control before that. Damned bikini.
I pushed all those nagging thoughts away and let myself drown in the pleasure of being like this with Scarlet, her silky skin under my hands and the sweet taste of her on my tongue.
I moved from her mouth down her neck to her collar bone, sucking gently. She let out a ragged breath as her head fell back and a moment of pride filled me.
When I moved back up to claim her lips again her hands became more hungry, roaming over my body and spending extra time on my shoulders. I'd been right during the interview—she did like my shoulders.
She rolled her body against mine, and I let out a low moan. Breaking the kiss, she took her turn kissing down my neck, my eyes closing.
"Scarlet," I breathed out.
Her mouth was close to my ear when she said, "Wow. You got my name right. Should I feel special?" When she pulled back, she had a playful glint in her eye.
I took her face in both my hands. "Yours is the only name I ever want to say."
A look of surprise crossed her face before I crushed her lips against mine. I kissed her fiercely, and she was quick to match my enthusiasm. I'd thought we couldn't have gotten any closer, but we were now molded together, spreading heat throughout my body.
Again, she rolled and pushed against me. I didn't even recognize the guttural noise that came out of me. If she kept doing that I was going to—
"Let's make sure there aren't any more of our players at the pool."
We both froze, our lips still together as we instantly recognized the voice.
Coach.
We slowly pulled apart and I was sure both of our eyes looked wild.
"We need to hide," I said quietly.
She nodded and quickly got off of my lap. We hurried out of the hot tub and hid behind some bushes near a small stucco building where I assumed the pool equipment was kept.
Scarlet adjusted her top, which had gotten askew from our make out session, and I tried not to stare but failed miserably. The screeching of the metal gate opening floated across the night air, and I tore my eyes away from Scarlet.
I looked toward where they might be but couldn't see anything from where we were hiding.
"Good. They all left," Coach said. "I was worried I was going to get a call from the front office about them."
"Ah, I miss those days. I remember one time kissing this girl in the hot tub and—"
"Spare me the details, Roberts," Coach interrupted.
