Chapter 1
We’d purchased the perfect Omega.
Unregistered, docile, and suitable for our needs.
I shoved open the mahogany door to the sex room. Sapphire lights cast across the king bed wrapped in ivory sheets. A nude Beta female lay stretched out at the edge of the mattress, her legs spread to accommodate Cade’s waist.
I lifted an eyebrow, tipped my head forward, and looked over the top of my wire-rim glasses.
Ah, so the female Cade texted us he was bringing for a fuck was Deborah.
Cade stepped back, gripping his still-hard cock as he tugged off the wet condom. On the far left of the bedroom stood a still clothed Rafael, leaning against the wall, hip braced against the drawers.
“You’re not going to come?” Deborah whined, stretching her lean body and propping one of her legs up to display her sex for Cade.
“Nah,” Cade said, striding to the trash can in the corner and tossing the used condom. He squeezed the base of his cock, and a shudder worked over his frame.
“You promised, Alpha,” she whined, pouting with disgusting exaggeration.
Cade’s grin widened. “Did I?” He hummed and pulled on his gray sweats, letting them hang low on his waist.
Cade had a thing for edging himself. How Deborah hadn’t caught on was more of a testament to her. He splayed himself across the bed beside Deborah, propping himself on his arms. She immediately rolled toward him to rub her hands all over his side with caressing glides.
“While you two have been fucking around, I’ve been researching.” I waved the electronic pad listing the limited information about the Omega. “Our payment went through.”
“Does that mean . . .” Cade breathed.
“Yes,” I answered.
“When do we go get her?” Cade sat up, slipping out of Deborah’s hands.
“Will we still get to play, Cade?” Deborah pouted up at him.
He pinched her chin. “Of course, my love,” he purred. She preened, failing to recognize that all he was giving her were platitudes. Cade loved no one. I didn’t think he was fully capable of it.
Having grown up together at the orphanage, I knew that better than anyone.
“Get dressed.” I gave Cade a pointed look.
“Right now?” Her whine grated on my ears. Cade winced, attention focused on me. He could tell she was pissing me off.
“Get out of here, Deborah.” Cade slapped her outer thigh. She pouted and scooted to the end of the bed, collected her clothes scattered across the floor, and scampered out the door, peeking at me from under her eyelashes.
“Show me the girl,” Cade breathed, striding over to me. He took the device out of my hands. His eyes widened on her, and he swung the screen over to Rafael who shoved his hand through his hair with a hard yank. The short brown waves of his hair fell onto his forehead.
“According to her father, she does as she’s told, and she knows everything necessary to please Alphas. The only drawback he mentioned was that she’s a spoiled brat.”
“Herfatheris selling her to us?” Cade snorted and tossed the Epad onto the mattress. “Rough shit.”
“Yup.” Rafael agreed with his damaged voice. I swung my eyes to him as he pushed off the wall.
“Well, she’s malleable and unregistered. Exactly what we need.” Exactly what would gain us access. I turned my wrist to look at my watch. A Beta I hired to get the Omega settled in would be here within the hour.
Cade made a sound of disgust. “It’s a good thing she’s temporary,” he grumbled.
The only way to tempt Greymont Pack into giving us access to their auction was with an Omega.
Eva De La Cruz was our ticket in. After that, it didn’t matter what happened to her. We could make our money back at the auction by selling her off.
