She tugged my head down. “Nash…”

“Mmm?”

“Don’t stop kissing me.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Sliding my hands up her body, I cupped her cheeks, looking deep into her eyes. She stared at me, hunger reflected back. I lowered my mouth to hers again, the hot kiss hardening my cock. Her fingernails bit into my arms, her body rocking against mine.

“I love that you’re so hard,” she breathed between kisses.

“And I love that you’re soft and sweet.” All I could feel was her: her heat, her taste, the way she pressed into me.

A sudden blaring noise ripped through the club. I froze, and she jolted.

It was a fire alarm.

I pulled her close, mouth to her ear. “Alessio found a way to help Shandy.”

She bit her lip, relief shining in her eyes.

The crowd started to push toward the exits.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and kept her close. “Let’s get out of here.”

CHAPTER 28

GEORGIE

We were back in the Range Rover.

The men were talking about the club and Snyder and his men. But I couldn’t focus.

Nash was beside me, his thigh pressed against mine.

I was wired. Desire was electric inside me, need filling every space. I liked knowing we’d been right under Snyder’s nose and he hadn’t known. I liked knowing that at least for tonight, Shandy was safe.

All of that was thanks to Nash.

I needed him more than I’d ever needed anything.

This was so dangerous. I’d vowed never to love again, never to get attached. Having sex with him would forge bonds. I knew that deep in my gut.

“The hostess told me that Snyder is planning a huge party at his house this week,” Bastian said. “A spectacle with performers, acrobats, and fireworks.”

“Could be a good place to hit him,” Cole mused from the back.

“There’ll be lots of guests, though,” Nash added.

I pulled in a breath, trying to concentrate on what they were talking about. Nash’s muscular thigh shifted, and I almost moaned out loud.

I felt his stare and glanced up.God. My stomach filled with heat.

There was desire all over his rugged face—raw, primal.

The rest of the drive was a blur. I kept shifting in my seat. Finally, we pulled into the back entrance to Avernus, near the villas.

“I’ll look into this party Snyder is planning,” Bastian said. “Find out all the details. This could be our best bet for taking him down.”
