Hey there, Mr. Almost-A-Billionaire. Reporting for duty as promised. Hope work is going well.
Lol. You're ridiculous. But hello to you too.
How was your day?
Honestly, it was a wreck.
Oh no. What happened?
Nothing you really want to know.
Well, not to pry… but you can tell me anything.
Okay then. I had to fire one of my assistants for mishandling funds. Then I had to advise the client who was on the shit end of that and well, let's say I got fired too.
Wait. You can fire people? You have assistants?!?! KYRAN?!
Loads of people have assistants in this line of work.
Oh, let's just make it so super casual then shall we?
Lol. You're ridiculous.
No but really, I'm sorry to hear about your day. And I'm sorry your client let you go.
It's okay. We deserved it honestly. I wouldn't have expected anyone to stay after finding out that someone was stealing their money.
That's actually crazy. I'm sorry that happened.
Right? But my day ended in lots of heated arguments and a major headache. I could have really used you earlier if I'm being honest.
Well, you know you can always text me if you wanna talk.
I didn't want to bother you while you were at school.
It's never a bother. I just might not text until I can get away with it but it wouldn't bother me.
That's good to know. So, how was school today?
Rough. I had a dumb pop quiz that I probably didn't do too well on and the teacher that I loathe made me talk about directional consequences of misplaced storytelling and the effects of underdeveloped characters.
What in the world?
Exactly. I looked like an idiot trying to come up with some kind of answer to that. It was nearly impossible.
But did you do it?
Heck yeah, I did. And I think my answer actually made sense lol.
