Then he covered her mouth with his and chased her thoughts off to the same place her worries had fled.

Dean was totally lying. He’d wanted to be buried balls deep in Liana since the second she’d given him the green light, but he also wanted her to be completely into it, and she had so many thoughts racing around in her head that needed to be turned off before it was truly just the two of them in the bed.
It was a strange and unfamiliar place for his head to be at, too, and that might be part of his reasoning for going slow tonight. He normally didn’t care if his partner was distracted by work or anything else. As long as everyone had a good time, got to come at least once, and left happy and cool with doing it again, he called it a win.
The stakes were higher with Liana.
Way higher.
Scary high, and he was ninety percent sure he couldn’t meet them. He wasn’t going to fuck it up on the first night together, though.
She was the most beautiful woman he’d ever had in his arms. Her confidence on stage, with her fans, her band…it was incredible. But here? He could still taste her fear.
“Tell me what you want,” he murmured against her lips.
“Everything.” She pressed against him. “And that means you need to be all the way naked.”
“Help me, then.” He kept kissing her while she shoved his boxer briefs down his hips. His dick popped into her hand, happy as a puppy to finally be given a rub on the head.
Simple bastard.
It wasn’t that easy.
Except now that they were tangled together, maybe it was. Liana’s eyes sparkled as they kissed and caressed each other.
“Grab me one of those condoms,” he said quietly, not wanting to break the moment. She arched her back, brushing those gorgeous pink nipples against his chest, and he played with them lazily, his fingertips circling the pebbled flesh as she ripped the foil open.
“Here,” she said.
“You do it.”
She grinned. “You’re really into this group effort thing.”
“I just like any excuse for you to touch me.” He hissed in a breath as she sheathed him, then lifted her top leg and draped it over his hip. “And I’ll take any chance to touch you, too. You turn me on, Liana. God. So much.”
He reached between them and slid his fingers through her wetness. She rocked her hips toward him and he met her in the middle.
His forehead pressed against hers as they found each other, her folds parting around him as he fitted himself against her and pressed inside.
Her lips parted in a wordless gasp as he stretched her out, and he groaned at how good it felt. “You’re perfect,” he growled. “So tight. Hot. Uhhhhh…”
Her breath hitched as she slid her arms around his neck. “Dean…”
“I’ve got you.”
“More.” She swallowed a gasp as he pulsed inside her. “Yes. That.”
He pumped his hips, slow and smooth, until she was moving with him, and then he planted one hand at the top of her ass, holding them together as he rolled her onto her back.
They came together as one, their hips surging in choreography that just clicked. Her thighs climbed up his body, wrapping around his waist as he braced his arms on either side of her and pushed in, again and again.
Each time he sank into her body, he wanted to curse and growl at how good it felt. But it went beyond the physical heat and pull of her. It had a lot to do with the way she was looking up at him, at the sounds she made and the way she held on to him, like this was incredible for her, too.
Like maybe she’d never known it to feel like this before. As if all the unbelievable feelings of their bodies working together was just the start of it. He laughed a little at that, but he held her gaze as the shaky chuckle worked its way through his body, and she nodded.Me too.
Her hands moved restlessly over the hotel bedspread. Her fingers were wiggling, and he reached for them with one hand, then the other. They were connected nearly everywhere they possibly could be, and it still wasn’t enough.
