“My sons, Sasha is on Earth with your Mother, doing what women love to do, spend money,” Tsar says, shaking his head.

“Hump. . . . I wanted to talk to her,” I say, inhaling deeply.

“My sons, I’ll let your Mother and Sasha know that you came to visit,” Tsar says, nodding.

“Sire, we want to invite Princess Anastasia to work in the London branch because we believe that it will be good to have her busy,” Vlad says, walking over to the chair falling onto the seat. He crosses his leg, resting his hands on the arms chairs.

“I’m glad to hear that she’s okay,” Dionisie says, walking over to the bar. He pulls the cabinet, grabbing the glass. He pours the Whiskey into the glass, taking a drink.

“Hell, they’re not returning any time soon,” I say, rubbing my neck.

“I’m afraid not,” Tsar says, turning up his lips, the eyes crinkle.

“Indeed,” I say, nodding.

“Will you let Sasha know about the London branch,” Vlad says, taking a drink.

“I will tell Princess Anastasha about working in the London branch. I’m going to encourage her to do so because I agree, it will help her move on,” Tsar says, nodding.

“Indeed, I’m going to head back because I have a meeting to attend,” I say, nodding.

“Princes, it’s a pleasure to see you, but I would like you to schedule some time to spend a few days visiting. Your Mother, Empress Luna, will be disappointed to miss your visit,” Tsar says, closing the book.

“Will do,” I say, nodding.

Present Day.

Claudette

I walk out of the shower, twist to grab the towel from the countertop, patting dry, and then I wrap the large mauve towel around my head. Next, I pull on my white lace panties and bra, adjusting them.

I love wearing matching panties and bras, even if I get them from Wally’s world.

I look at myself through the foggy mirror, taking in my huge wide eyes, my small straight nose, and full lips.

Geeze, I look so flushed; my fair skin is pink.

I walk out of the bathroom, down the hall, and into my room. It’s a small room; I have a full bed and a small dresser.

I live with my two girlfriends, Kitty and Marie; we were in foster homes together at different times. So, we’ve been to hell and back, and they’re like my sisters.

Hell, I don’t want to think of those days when I was fucking helpless. So, we saved our money and got this small apartment in downtown Sacramento. It works; it’s close to Sacramento State.

My stomach is a bundle of nerves; I can’t help being excited. I don’t usually feel a thing; I’ve learned since I was young to control my emotions.

Yeah, my friends call me Coldette, a play on my name, Claudette, because I grow cold in a matter of seconds.

Whatever.

I pull the towel off, setting it on top of the my dresser. I run my fingers through my long-wet locks.

“Coldette, are you ready,” Marie yells, walking into my room sliding her fingers over her cell phone screen.

“Almost.”

Marie looks up, her eyes are shining, and I can see that she’s up to something. She flips her head, tossing her long brown hair over her shoulder. She’s always so happy; she looks at the good in people even though she went through hell along with me in the last foster home.
