“Yeah, that must be it,” Dionisie says, taking a drag of his cigarette.

“It’s time to get gone,” I say, dropping the cigarette on the ground and pressing it out with my black leather shoe.

“Yeah, the sooner, the better because I have to get back to the office,” Vlad says, gathering his forehead.

We teleport to Kozlov’s kingdom at the Golden Hour.

I take long strides, shoving my black leather shoe heels onto the marble floor, pushing off in a quick stride.

“I don’t think Sasha is home,” Dionisie asks, walking to my right.

“No, she is not,” Vlad says, walking to my left.

We enter the big royal chamber; the candles are lit; the soft glow dancing and the strong scent of jasmine fills the room. I look for my Sasha, but she’s not in the room.

“I need a drink,” I say, walking over to the bar in the corner to grab the crystal decanter filled with Whiskey and the crystal tumbler, pouring the dark gold liquid. I take a drink, closing my eyes, enjoying the burn of the liquid as it flows down my throat.

“Serve me one,” Dionisie says, walking over to open the French doors.

The breeze swirls around the sheer drapes, emitting the garden's rose scent in the room.

“Fuck, I wonder what the Tsar has to say,” Vlad walks over to the bar, grabs a glass, and pours the Whiskey.

“You know I don’t have a fucking clue,” I say, taking a drink.

“Hell, we will learn soon,” Vlad asks, turning on his heels looking at me.

“I don’t see how I’m going to locate my soulmate. I don’t have any fucking time,” I say, looking around the room.

“I hear you,” Vlad says, taking a drink of his Whiskey.

“You meet her,” Dionisie says, smiling.

Of course, he has his soulmate, fucker.

The royal chamber is a huge room painted in ivory, with white marbled floors and gilded decorations. A pair of ivory bone-colored Versailles chairs with oversized scrolled legs and a hand-brushed accent painted on antique platinum finish. The backrest has a crystal-like button in the tuft royal chairs at the end of the room on a dais. There are two rows of bone-white velvet tufted chairs along the right and left walls.

This is the room where we hold royal meetings, but it’s also where the royal balls take place.

The doors at the back of the room pop open, and Tsar walks in wearing black wool slacks, a white button-up cotton shirt, and a black scarf tie in an Ascot.

“Princes, it’s awesome that you made time to visit,” Tsar says, walking into the chamber lifting his chin in greeting.

“Sire, it’s always a pleasure,” Vlad says, nodding.

“Indeed,” I say, nodding.

“Sire, I’m pleased to see you,” Dionisie says, taking a drink of his Whiskey.

“Very well, I have alarming news! The Rogue Vampires are becoming a vast army, and they've gone insane.

We must stop them,” Tsar says, walking over to grab a crystal glass. He pours himself some Whiskey and then takes a drink.

“Do you want us to gather our army,” Vlad asks, gathering his eyebrows?

“Yes, we need to gather an army on Earth because we need to stop the Rogue Vampires before the Humans learn of our existence,” Tsar snarls, resting his left hand on his waist.

“Will do,” Vlad says, nodding looking at me.
